Bapjangin is a stew-and-stir-fry rice house on the B1 food court of the Seoul Express Bus Terminal, Gyeongbu side, opposite the Shinsegae Factory Store. Menus copied into the posts list jjageuri, kimchi stew and soft-tofu potato stew at 12,000 won with rice, bulgogi at 14,000, and a 20,000-won single set of any stew plus bulgogi. You order on the tablet at your seat; bean sprouts, radish salad and kimchi arrive, and black rice comes in a big bowl for mixing with the stew and the seaweed flakes kept on every table. Many writers came alone, before or after a bus or a shopping trip. We read 23 posts from August 5 to October 24, 2026; 21 describe an actual meal (one was about another restaurant, one was a multi-place list).

What sets it apart
- There is dedicated solo seating. Twelve posts describe the room the same way: single seats and bar counters along the window, two- and four-tops further in. One writer took the last solo seat; another overheard staff seat a late solo diner at a four-top with a warning they might share it. Eight posts say they came alone.
- Ordering is on a tablet at each seat. Ten posts mention it, and say payment happens there too; one notes that cash payers tick 'cash' and settle at the counter.
- Stew heat runs from level 1 to 5, pegged in the posts to Jin Ramen, Shin Ramyun, Yupdduk and Buldak. One writer who chose level 3 found it very hot and regretted it; two who chose levels 1 and 2 found it milder than expected; one gave no verdict.
- Five posts call the portions large: rice comes in a bowl big enough to be mistaken for the main, and one found the single set enough for two.

It is on B1, reachable from the subway without going outside. Five posts describe the underground food court first-hand and three say it connects straight to the station, one pointing to Line 9 exit 1. The terminal is big — one writer got lost and had to ask — so posts keep repeating: look for the Shinsegae Factory Store.
No post says whether the entrance has a step or works for a wheelchair or stroller. We don't know either way.
No post places a toilet inside the restaurant; one mentions a women's restroom right next door, suggesting you use the terminal's. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in one post's copied info block.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 20 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Sixteen posts give opening hours of 10:00-22:00 daily; thirteen give last order at 21:10 and one at 21:20, mostly copied from the map listing. None names a closing day, and two say there is no afternoon break. One couple arriving near 9 pm found it the only rice place still lit in the terminal.
- Prices match across menus copied in August, September and October 2026 (jjageuri 12,000 won, single Spam set 13,500), so no rise shows in this period. One October 12 post lists stews at 11,000 and the list post gives about 12,500 for the Spam set — both out of line with the menus.
- Eleven posts give the phone number 0507-1498-0497, but none says whether it takes reservations.
- Twenty-one of the 23 posts fall between October 5 and 24, 2026, many walking through location, seaweed flakes, the review perk and heat levels in much the same order. Only one, from September, discloses sponsorship; two say in the text they paid themselves. Three posts saw celebrity autographs on the wall; general claims that many celebrities have visited are hearsay and not counted.
