Keuraebeo Daegenara Jamsil-jeom

크래버대게나라 잠실점 Daegenara means 'snow-crab country' — this is the Jamsil branch of a crab-course chain, which several posts call its main branch (Jamsil Bonjeom).

Compiled from 19 blog posts read in fullSources →

A snow crab, king crab and lobster course restaurant on the ground floor of 92 Wiryeseong-daero, Songpa-gu, across from Olympic Park. The meal opens with crab porridge and salad, moves through sashimi, tomato-and-jellyfish salad, buttered seafood on a hot plate and fried flounder, then the crab arrives already cut open; for 3,000 won more they fry rice in the leftover innards and serve it in the shell, followed by a soup and yogurt with orange. Per-head prices in the posts: 49,000 won for weekday lunch (two posts), 78,000 for a dinner business course, 65,000 for a crab course, and 'around 100,000'. We read 30 posts from 23 January to 14 October 2026, 21 of them from people who ate here. We set aside four (Nowon and Pangyo branches, and two whose body was about another place) and did not count two chain promotions, one reviewer-recruitment notice and two posts that only copied the listing.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Ten posts say there are private rooms. Two describe one that seats 15 to 18 once a partition is removed; one post used a room for a birthday, another for a father-in-law's sixtieth. Several say the hall tables are screened from each other, and that hall seats look onto the tanks of live crab.
  2. Four posts say the window seats look out on Olympic Park; one adds that although it is street level, a gap between the pavement and the glass kept passers-by from feeling close.
  3. Nine posts call the staff friendly, and say why: the day's market price explained as they sat down, the exact price by weight and a steaming time of about 40 minutes confirmed after ordering, a manager bringing over a neighbouring table's 5 kg crab to show them.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 19 posts read)

Two posts written from a visit say the restaurant is at street level; none mentions stairs down or up.

No visitor wrote about a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. The line 'entrance wheelchair accessible' was copied from the listing, so we did not count it. That means nobody told us, not that it is a problem.

No post says where the toilets are or what they are like; 'separate men's and women's toilets' appears only in copied listing text.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Whether it is expensive splits three to three: one post says it was 'by no means cheap' at about 100,000 won a head, another calls the price reasonable, and one got 10% off for arriving before lunch plus 5% with a Naver booking coupon. The crab course seems to have gone up: one post says it was 108,000 won in May 2025 and 118,000 in September 2026. King crab is at market price (one post paid 158,000 won per kg for 1.8 kg), and for October 2026 the chain advertised red king crab at 138,000 won per kg.
  • Nobody wrote about waiting. Nine posts booked ahead; 'no same-day bookings' and the advice to book a day early are copied notices. We do not know whether walk-ins wait on weekend evenings.
  • One post walked from a station: 12 to 15 minutes from Hanseong Baekje, hard going on a windy day. Other posts name different nearby stations (Songpanaru, Bangi, Olympic Park) without having taken them. Nobody mentions buses.
  • Three posts give the same opening hours, daily 11:30–22:30 with last orders at 21:00, but all three copied them from the listing. A July 2026 post says until 11 pm and a February post says 22:00 with last orders at 21:30; we cannot tell whether winter hours differ.
  • Several posts give the same phone number, 02-412-2338. One booked on Naver and then phoned to check king crab was in stock; another called, heard only a few snow crab were left, and booked on the spot.
  • Seven of the 21 visit posts describe the courses in the same order and words and repeat search phrases like 'Seoul snow crab restaurant' and 'family dining spot'. None discloses sponsorship, but they read as commissioned. We counted what they report doing, such as who they went with, and did not use their praise of the food.
