Bar

Hannamdaegyo

한남대교 Hannam Daegyo is the name of the Hannam Bridge over the Han River — the bar borrows it but sits in Bangi-dong, Songpa, far from the bridge.

Compiled from 27 blog posts read in fullSources →

Hannamdaegyo is a drinking spot in the Bangi-dong food alley in Songpa (18-11 Olympic-ro 32-gil). Red plastic stools and round tables spill onto the street out front, and inside there are partitions and walls covered in customers' graffiti. People order dishes like the water-dropwort and octopus pancake (22,000 won), steamed clams (27,000 won), gamtae gimbap with beef tartare (29,000 won) and a mixed sashimi plate (37,000 won) with soju or beer. We read 29 posts from 4 September to 18 October 2026, 27 of them from actual visits. One was about the Han River bridge of the same name and was set aside; one was a multi-venue list and was not counted.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. 25 of the 27 visit posts mention the street seating. Two posts note the rules posted for it: four people per table at most, no moving tables or seats, no smoking. Four posts found it full or nearly full — on a Saturday evening, around 8 pm on a weekday, on a weekday evening and at 10 pm on a weekday. People who sat inside cite a full terrace, cold (a 1 October visit), heat, or arriving before the street tables were set out.
  2. Ten posts say the free starter is cabbage, sometimes sprinkled with salted kelp (shio kombu) or served with a soy dressing; one post went through two bowls.
  3. Five posts mention a projector or big screen inside. Two mid-October posts watched the LG–Doosan postseason game there, and one says the commentary carried out to the street tables over speakers.
  4. Six posts say it is walkable from exit 10 of Jamsil Station; one puts it at a nine-minute walk, and several repeat a listed distance of 522 m.

Parking

1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot1 of 27 posts

Parking is unclear. One post says there is none because the street in front is taken up by tables; one visitor who drove used the Songpa-gu Office No. 2 public lot nearby. Three posts repeat that the Hyochang lot opposite gives an hour free, but none of them actually parked there.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 3 (of 27 posts read)
Separate restrooms3 of 27 posts

No post describes the floor or any stairs on the way in from experience; the 'ground floor' in the address is a listing detail, not something a visitor reported.

Nobody mentions a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means we don't know, not that there is none. Keep in mind the restrooms are in the next building, split across two floors.

The restroom is not inside the bar — three posts say it is outside. Two give directions: out the door to the building on the left, women's on the ground floor and men's on the second, no door code, and grab toilet paper at the counter first. Three posts say the restrooms are separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Only two posts talk about waiting. One, at 10 pm on a weekday, was told there was a wait for the street tables and sat inside instead, noting a board at the entrance for names and party size. A couple in early September say they barely waited.
  • Opinions differ on how hot the whole-squid tteokbokki is: one post found it not spicy at all, another called it spicy-sweet.
  • The opening hours appear to have changed. Eight posts up to 5 October list 5 pm to 2 am daily with last orders at 1 am; seven posts from 14 October list 4 pm to 1 am with last orders at midnight. Almost all of these are copied listing details, so check before going. Two September posts gave a 4 pm opening and one listed shorter Sunday hours (5:30 pm to 1 am).
  • Most posts agree on prices, with single outliers: one gives 21,000 won for the octopus pancake (others 22,000), one 32,000 for the gimbap and tartare (others 29,000), one 23,000 for the clams (others 27,000). They don't line up by date, so we don't read them as price changes. One post gives a bill: 69,000 won for chicken neck, clams, an ice cream and a bottle of soju.
  • Several posts give the phone number as 02-412-3558 (one wrote 3588). Five posts repeat that the bar takes no reservations, but none says they called to check.
  • Three posts disclose sponsorship or a review program. The other 24 say nothing, but the posts cluster within six weeks and many share the same template — the same keyword phrases repeated in title and body, opening with a block of address and hours — so promotional copy is likely mixed in.
