Marugame Udon is the Japanese udon chain's branch on the GF level of Lotte Mall at Gimpo Airport, near Lotte Mart. You take a tray, call out your udon at the counter, tong your own tempura, pay at the end and finish at a self-topping bar with scallions, ginger, green chili and tempura flakes. Udon runs from 7,900 won (plain kake, regular) to 14,800 won (chicken and vegetable, large), and tempura is 2,000 to 2,500 won a piece, so one bowl plus one fritter comes to roughly 10,000 to 15,000 won. We read 21 posts from 10 August to 27 October 2026, 18 of them from people who ate here; two posts about other places and one mall directory were not counted.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- There is a line, but mostly it is the ordering line. Eleven posts mentioned it. One counted about ten parties ahead at 11:40 on a weekday and took ten minutes to get food and pay; another waited around 20 minutes in the opening weeks. One said weekdays have little wait and weekends a long one, and a late weekday dinner walked straight in. One evening diner noted empty seats while the line stalled on people choosing from the menu.
- Eleven posts described watching noodles boiled and rinsed in cold water while they queued; one noted the noodle-making station sits at the very front of the shop.
- Four posts called it salty. Two parents rinsed the broth or noodles in water before giving them to their children, and one diner handed her nikutama to her husband after a few bites. Another only called the broth slightly salty.
- Five posts said high chairs are available, one noting a stack beside the tray return. Children's tableware is disputed: one post said it exists, one said it does not, and one said extra utensils or scissors had to be requested at the till.
3 more
- Eight posts found the tempura crisp. One repeat visitor disagreed, saying it was less crisp than on her first visit and the shrimp was soggy.
- Four posts said even the regular size is generous; two suggested a regular plus one tempura is plenty.
- Two posts said Gimpo Airport station connects underground to the mall, making transit easy; exit numbers and distances appear only in copied info blocks.

Several posts copied that you park in the mall's underground garage; two described it first-hand, one saying attendants made it easy and one calling it convenient. The spend-based free-parking tiers were copied, not verified.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | 1 of 18 posts |
|---|---|
| Step-free access | 1 of 18 posts |
Only one post spelled out the floor, explaining that the mall's GF level is the second basement; the rest just say GF.
No post mentioned a step at the entrance or getting in by wheelchair; one saw quite a few families with strollers parked between the inner tables.
No post said where the toilets are or whether there is one inside the shop. That means we do not know, not that there is none.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Price opinions split: two posts found it expensive (dearer than Japan, not cheap for udon), three found it fair (kind prices, reasonable for a mall), and three were mixed, typically fine for udon but steep for tempura. One family's four tempura cost as much as a bowl of udon.
- Opening hours appear in seven posts, all copied info blocks: five say 10:30 to 22:00, one says it closes at 21:00 and one that it opens at 10:00. Last order is 21:00 in four and 21:10 in one. No post mentions a closing day.
- There are no side dishes: two posts missed pickled radish or kimchi. One post alone listed pickled radish at the topping bar, but it reads as copied information.
- Three posts give the same phone number, 0507-1356-5059. None says whether it takes bookings; you queue to order.
