Oneuldo Dakgalbi Banghak-jeom

오늘도닭갈비 방학점 Oneuldo means 'today, too' — as in dakgalbi again today; Banghak-jeom is the Banghak-dong branch, which many posts call the chain's original store.

Compiled from 27 blog posts read in fullSources →

A griddle dakgalbi restaurant at 222 Sirubong-ro, Banghak-dong, Dobong-gu, next to the Banghak 2-dong community center near Dokkaebi Market. Thigh meat, cabbage, sweet potato and rice cakes arrive raw on a big round griddle, staff stir-fry it at your table, then fry rice with kimchi and bean sprouts in the leftovers. Dakgalbi is 13,000 won a portion; on weekdays from 11:00 to 14:00, set A (two portions plus one fried rice) is 26,000 won. We read 30 posts from July 12 to October 22, 2026; two were about other places and one only listed it in a route, leaving 27 visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. You don't cook. Twenty-four of the visits say staff stir-fried it from start to finish — cutting the large pieces with scissors, telling diners to eat the rice cakes first — and came back to fry the rice. One post notes a separate sauce comes for the fried rice, so you needn't save any dakgalbi for it.
  2. The seasoning is mild. Six posts say it was not salty, two of them finding it slightly bland (one diner's husband, one the writer herself). Three say it wasn't spicy and two call it 'moderately spicy' without settling. You can choose mild or spicy.
  3. Seventeen posts call the portions generous — one diner asked whether it was really two portions, and several pairs of women were full on set A. One post notes, though, that the lunch-set dakgalbi is 200 g per portion, 50 g less than the regular.
  4. Several posts copy a 10–13 minute walk from Banghak Station exit 2 toward Dokkaebi Market. Five say from experience it is easy by foot or bus; one took bus 1128 from Suyu Station to the Banghak 2-dong community center stop, right outside.

  1. Seventeen posts mention a wall covered in framed celebrity autographs. That this is the flagship of an 82-store chain with a first Japanese branch in Yokohama comes from the restaurant's own signage.

Parking

8 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park8 of 27 posts

Eight posts say they drove and parked. There are mechanical and regular spaces beside the building; three put it at about eight mechanical and three regular, and one saw one regular and one disabled space. Claims that the tower takes sedans only and that street parking is tolerated from 11:00 to 14:30 are copied information.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

Several posts copy a 10–13 minute walk from Banghak Station exit 2 toward Dokkaebi Market. Five say from experience it is easy by foot or bus; one took bus 1128 from Suyu Station to the Banghak 2-dong community center stop, right outside.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 5 (of 27 posts read)
Separate restroomsyes 0 · no 1 (of 27 posts read)

No post describes the floor or any stairs from experience; only the address says ground floor.

Nobody says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller got in — one family came with a baby but didn't describe the entrance. This means unknown, not absent.

The toilet is outside the restaurant, as five posts say: a shared building toilet past the parking area on the left. One post says the door code is posted by the tissues at the entrance and there's no paper or soap inside, so take tissues with you. Two found it roomy and clean, one noticed a slight smell, and one notes it is unisex.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Posts arrive in bursts — nine on September 3–4 and seven on October 21–22, 2026 — repeating the same phrases ('82 branches', '100% thigh meat', 'eight mechanical, three regular spaces'). Three disclose sponsorship, one says the meal was provided, the rest say nothing. Each records an actual meal, so we counted them, but read the volume of praise with that in mind.
  • No post mentions waiting. Several found it quiet at opening or near last order; one says it filled up around noon on a weekday and one found it busy at 7 p.m. on a Friday, but nobody queued. One post says Naver booking is available.
  • Most posts copy the same hours: 11:00–22:00, break 15:00–17:00, last order 21:00, closed Mondays. Five say the break is weekdays only, and one lists opening as 10:00. The phone number is usually 02-955-0534; two posts give 0507-1394-1592.
