A 24-hour gamjatang house at 804 Olympic-ro in Gangdong, near Amsa Station. The pork-backbone stew comes heaped with dried radish greens and is boiled at your table: 32,000 won for a small (three posts, one a listicle), 24,000 for a 'mini small' for two, and 45,000 for a stew, grilled-bone and tteokgalbi set (Nov 2024). We read 24 posts from November 2024 to October 2026; 19 describe eating here, 4 are listicles, delivery or promotion, and 1 is about a different restaurant.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Portion size is the most common remark: seven posts say it is generous, citing a small that was 'considerable', big bones filling the pot, and a surprisingly large bowl of bone soup. One couple found a small too little and added half a portion of bones.
  2. Side dishes are topped up at a self-serve bar, which seven posts mention; two note plastic gloves and small plates there. The basic sides are kimchi, radish kimchi, carrots, garlic stems and peppers. Two posts say you order on a table tablet, but they are near-identical posts from the same day.
  3. Five posts call the room spacious. Two say there are both regular tables and floor seating, and some mention solo counter seats. Several remark on the rows of homemade infused liquor along the walls.
  4. Many posts come from repeat visitors: five say it was at least their second time. Four went as a couple and three with family; one family brought a preschooler and shared the set's tteokgalbi and steamed egg.

  1. It is walkable from Amsa Station on Line 8: two posts put it at 7–8 minutes and 5 minutes.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

2 posts say it is walkable from the station.

Getting inside

No post says which floor it is on or whether there are stairs — that is unrecorded, not absent.

Nobody mentions a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access.

The only toilet information is a copied info line in one post saying it is inside; no one describes it firsthand, and we don't know if it is gender-separated.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 22 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Heat is disputed: one post calls the stew broth spicy, two say it isn't (one wished it were hotter). The grilled bones are spicy by two accounts, with no option to tone them down.
  • No post describes waiting. Two say there was no queue or no trouble finding a seat; one found it full on a weekend evening.
  • Five posts give the hours as 24 hours (two of them in copied info boxes). 'Open every day' comes only from the two near-identical posts, and one poster found it open at 9 a.m.
  • Prices for the bone soup range from 10,000 to 12,000 won across posts; since the menu lists two similar soups, we can't tell a price rise from a different dish.
  • Only one post gives the phone number, 02-481-3398, and none says whether reservations are taken.
