Sinnanhyang Kkuljjajang
신난향꿀짜장 Kkul means honey and jjajang is black-bean-sauce noodles; Sinnanhyang is a Chinese-restaurant-style house name that none of the posts explain.

A Chinese-Korean restaurant tucked inside an alley of Ahyeon Market in Mapo, Seoul. Posts keep mentioning a cash-price deal for eating in (jjajang, jjamppong, glutinous-rice tangsuyuk), and many describe delivery orders pinging and riders coming and going nonstop. As of October 2026 the cash price was 6,500 won for jjajang and 7,500 won for jjamppong (menu prices 7,500 and 8,500); in October 2024 jjajang was 5,000 won. We read 18 posts from October 2024 to October 2026. Sixteen describe eating in; we didn't count the other two, which were deliveries eaten at home.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Paying cash gets you a lower price. Of the 16 eat-in posts, 12 mention the cash deal. One puts it at about 1,000 won off per dish; a February 2025 post had jjajang, jjamppong and tangsuyuk for 22,000 won in cash. No post calls the place expensive, and 11 call it cheap.
- Food comes out fast. All four posts that mention timing say so: the noodles came 'really quickly' (Oct 2024), and the dishes arrived 'without a long wait' (Feb 2025). One post says three dishes came out almost at once.
- Nine posts describe the seating; two say there are tables for two, four and six. Two posts count about six tables, and only one says 'more than ten, spacious.' One post notes that much of the floor is taken up by space for delivery riders, and two say the room isn't large.
- Two posts found the 10,000-won cash tangsuyuk small: one said you get what you pay for, the other said you'd want one per person (Jan and Feb 2025). Two other posts called portions generous, one about the jjajang (Nov 2024) and one about the tangsuyuk in a combo bowl (Jun 2025).

- The jjajang leans sweet; four posts say so, likening it to the sweet black-bean noodles of their childhood. One post said its ganjjajang wasn't overly sweet. Four posts call the jjamppong spicy, while the one diner who ordered the stir-fried version wished it had more heat.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
3 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No one describes the floor level or stairs from experience; only the address says ground floor.
We don't know whether there's a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits. That doesn't mean there's a problem; nobody wrote about it. Posts do mention that the market alley is narrow.
No post says whether there's a restroom inside or whether it's separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 18 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Several posts say dogs are welcome, but mostly by copying the listing. Only one post (Sep 2026) actually brought a dog.
- Cleanliness is split two to one: two posts found it tidier than expected, one said you'd need to look the other way a bit. A January 2025 post noted that even dine-in sauces came in plastic delivery containers.
- Only one post mentions waiting: about five minutes at 3 p.m. the day after Chuseok, when the room was full. The idea that it's packed at mealtimes appears only as hearsay, so we didn't count it.
- Seven eat-in posts give the same hours, 9:20 a.m. to 8:40 p.m., though six of them copy a listing block. No post names a closing day; one post found it open on a Sunday (Oct 2024) and another the day after Chuseok (Sep 2026).
- Prices depend on when the post was written. Cash-price jjajang was 5,000 won in Oct 2024, 5,500 won Dec 2024–Jan 2025, and 6,500 won in Oct 2026. Tangsuyuk was 10,000 won through Feb 2025 and appears as a 12,000-won mini tangsuyuk in 2026. No post gives cash prices between Feb 2025 and Jul 2026, so we can't say when the increase happened.
- Four posts copy the phone number, 02-717-2555. They mention lots of phone and delivery orders, but no post says whether the shop takes reservations.
- Five posts from Sep 28 to Oct 14, 2026 repeat the same points in the same order: three minutes from Ahyeon Station exit 4, red lanterns, nonstop delivery alerts, tables for two, four and six, two hours' free parking, dogs welcome, and 6,500-won cash jjajang. None discloses sponsorship, but we read them as one batch.
