A three-storey bakery cafe right on Daeyul Reservoir in Geumgu-myeon, Gimje. You order drinks at the ground-floor counter, pick bread from the cases, and carry it up to the second or third floor, a terrace, the roof, or the lawn. An Americano is 6,000 won, and most breads and cake slices run 3,800–7,800 won. We read 30 posts from 11 December 2025 to 18 October 2026. Seventeen describe a visit, seven are write-ups or roundup lists, and six were about a nearby playground, campsite or restaurant, so we set them aside.

What sets it apart
- With children, plan to stay on the ground floor or outside. Four visitors wrote that the second and third floors (and the roof) are no-kids zones. The ground floor has soft sofas, an 'OUR HAPPY PLACE' photo nook and the lawn, and the families who brought children spent their time there. The cafe as a whole is not adults-only.
- Seating isn't only indoors. Seven visitors described outdoor seats, such as beanbags on the lawn facing the reservoir and terraces off the second and third floors. Four went up to the roof, and one described seats set among red gravel, round stepping stones and low stone walls. Twelve called the place spacious, and two said that even on crowded days a seat turned up if you looked around.
- Leftover bread goes home via a self-packing station, which four visitors mentioned. Packing it yourself is free, and one post said a box costs 300 won if you ask for one. Two posts also mention that the counter lends out tripods.
- In winter the grounds become a Christmas-tree garden. Two posts from December 2025 described rows of trees on the reservoir side and artificial snow. Both gave the same snow times: ten minutes on the hour at 3, 6 and 7 pm on weekdays, and every hour from 2 to 7 pm on Saturdays.

Ten visitors said the cafe's own lot is large. Two of them, though, found it nearly full: once on a Monday afternoon in the Christmas season and once at 2 pm on a substitute-holiday Monday. Five visitors said they drove there.

No one wrote whether there is a step at the door or whether they got in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there isn't one. Two visitors took an elevator to the upper floors. One post's line about wheelchair access was copied from the listing, so we don't count it. Six visitors described walking in on the ground floor to order.
Restrooms are split across floors. Two visitors described them. One found the women's on the ground floor and the men's on the second; the other said the men's are only on the second and third floors while the women's are on all three. That second visitor went on Chuseok and said the restrooms were small for the crowd, with long lines outside them.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 23 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Three visitors called it pricey, and prices have moved. On the December 2025 menu, lemon tea was 6,800 won and chocolate latte 7,000. By October 2026 they were 7,000 and 7,300. The Americano (6,000) and signature latte (7,000) stayed the same. A drink and one pastry come to roughly 12,000–15,000 won.
- No post describes getting there by bus or train. One suggested driving, about 15 minutes from central Jeonju.
- No one wrote about queueing to get in. Some found it packed on weekends and at Chuseok (one said it filled up while they were ordering), but no one gave a wait time. The only lines anyone mentioned were for the photo spot on the water and outside the restrooms.
- Eleven posts give the same opening hours: 10 am to 9 pm, closed Sundays. Most of them copied this from the listing. Several add that drinks start at 10 and bread and desserts at 11. One December 2025 post also lists 11 am to 10 pm in the same piece. Evening visitors found the bread cases largely empty, and one found every cake sold out.
- Five posts give the phone number as 0507-1359-0689. No one wrote whether the cafe takes reservations.
- A lot of these posts are promotional. Roundup and info-summary posts piled up in September and October 2026, and some repeated other reviews without a visit, so we didn't count them. Two of the posts that claim a visit were thin on detail, so we counted only what they said they experienced.
