A small seafront shop on the Yongdam coastal road (540 Seohaean-ro), a short drive from Jeju airport, serving dishes made with bomal, the island's small sea snails. The menu is four items — bomal noodles, bomal porridge, boiled pork and a bomal-conch salad — plus a two-person set. Posts from July 2026 on give bomal noodles at 12,000 won, porridge 13,000, pork 25,000 and set B (noodles, porridge, half plate of pork) 36,000; posts from September 2025 to February 2026 had 11,000, 12,000, 24,000 and 35,000. It opens at 8:30, and most writers stopped in for their first meal on the island or their last before a flight. We read 30 posts from August 2025 to October 2026, and all 30 describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Extra side dishes come from a self-serve bar: 14 posts mentioned refilling there. The first round is kimchi, pickled radish and pickled jalapeño, and the kimchi drew repeated praise; one writer admitted going back for the pickled peppers a couple of times.
  2. The room is small: 13 posts called it small or cramped, and those that counted tables mostly found about four four-seat tables. One December 2025 post also noted a bar counter. Four posts mentioned outdoor tables or a terrace.
  3. Nine posts noted high chairs, and six went with children, including one with a nine-month-old; several said the mild noodles went down well with kids. Family trips dominate (9 posts), with friends in 2 and a couple in 1.
  4. Seven posts mentioned celebrity autographs on the wall. Next to the menu hangs a board explaining what bomal is and its supposed benefits, which many writers read while waiting.

  1. Five posts said portions are big, one surprised by the size of the bowl. Five described sea views from the window seats, and one saw a pod of dolphins offshore after the meal.

Parking

Where it is

Map showing where Namsuni-ne Guksu is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post described the floor from experience. The address says ground floor, and one writer staying upstairs simply came downstairs for breakfast.

Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. That means we don't know, not that there is a problem.

No one described the toilet from experience. One post copied a listing note that it is outside the shop; we don't know whether it is gender-separated.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Prices rose between February and July 2026: noodles 11,000 to 12,000 won, porridge 12,000 to 13,000, set 35,000 to 36,000. One October 2026 post still listed the old 11,000, while another that month paid 12,000. A meal runs 12,000–13,000 won alone or 36,000 for two on the set.
  • No post reports actually waiting. One nearly had to, one guessed there would be a wait at busy times, and one found it empty at 10 a.m. on a weekday. We don't know how long lunch or weekend waits are.
  • Of 21 posts giving hours, 19 say 8:30 to 19:30, nearly all copied from the shop's listing. Eighteen give Monday as the day off, but one October 2026 post says Mondays and Fridays, one September 2025 visit says no day off, and another September 2025 post says closing at 19:00. One post notes no afternoon break. One group arriving just before closing could not order the conch salad.
  • Many posts copied the phone number 0507-1371-2541, but none said whether reservations are taken. One late arrival was told the conch salad could have been prepared if they had phoned ahead.
  • No one wrote about getting there by bus. Nearly everyone drove a rental car, citing 5–15 minutes from the airport; one group took a taxi. We don't know how practical public transport is.
  • The same five Korean hashtags appear in the same order on many posts, one of which was openly sponsored. Two posts disclosed sponsorship or support, four said they paid themselves, and the rest said nothing.
