Jangchun Yukdang
장춘육당 Yukdang is literally a 'meat hall' (one post notes it is written in Chinese characters on the sign); Jangchun reads as 'long spring', though no post explains the name.

A charcoal-grill beef place in Yeon-dong, Jeju City, on the lane behind the Jeju Sun Hotel toward Sammu Park. There is essentially one dish: 'emperor' beef rib-finger meat, 68,000 won for a 600 g plate, plain, marinated or half-and-half, grilled by diners over charcoal at the table, followed by cold noodles (5,000 won) and a cabbage-green soybean stew. We read 30 posts from April 2025 to June 2026; 3 were about other restaurants, leaving 27 visits. Eight of those say they were paid or sponsored, most written during an October–November 2025 'value tourism' campaign.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Most writers call it good value: 16 posts say so, often 'beef for the price of pork'. One disagrees — a self-paid post found 600 g too little for two grown men and the price disappointing for imported beef. The price itself held steady: 68,000 won per 600 g and 34,000 won per extra 300 g from April 2025 to a March 2026 visit.
- Fourteen posts mention rooms off the main hall, closed with sliding doors — one family always eats there with the in-laws; one counts 'about two' rooms, another 'several'. One post notes the rooms have chairs and tables, so shoes stay on. The '80 seats' figure is the restaurant's own claim, repeated.
- Fourteen posts describe a self-serve side-dish bar for refills after the first set arrives at the table; several went back repeatedly for the young-radish kimchi. One post adds that sesame-oil dipping salt is something you mix yourself.
- You grill your own meat. Five posts say a staff member came over to grill for them, each noting it was a quiet time; another says staff will grill when the room is empty but they did it themselves. Several warn the charcoal runs hot and the thin meat burns quickly.

- Three posts came with children: a high chair appeared on request though none were out, the stew was made mild and without greens for a toddler, and a family got their cold noodles with less sauce.

Thirteen posts say you can park in front. The five that count spaces say three or four, about four, four to five (twice), and five or six; when those are full, people park in the side lane.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 27 posts read) |

Only one post mentions the floor: the entrance is on the ground floor of the building.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means we don't know, not that there is a problem.
No post mentions the toilets — where they are or whether they are separate for men and women.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Twenty-two posts list the same hours: daily 12:00–22:00, last order 21:00. The afternoon break is disputed — 14 posts give 15:00–17:00, two say there is none, and one of those ate around 4 p.m. on a Friday. Most of these are copied info blocks; call 064-742-8556 before an afternoon visit. Two posts booked ahead.
- The 10% black-pork discount was a campaign promotion from 17 September to 16 November 2025; six posts saw the notice. It does not mean it still runs.
- Accounts of the meat differ: two posts call it thick-cut, one says it is thin and cooks fast. On the marinade, four call it sweet and five say it is not.
- No one wrote about arriving by bus. Posts give 7–10 minutes by car from the airport; one walked over from a nearby hotel.
- No post mentions waiting, but many went early: empty at 5 p.m. on a weekday, second table in at about 5, 'just us' a little after 5. Others found it busy with groups in the evening or fully booked from opening. Whether there is a wait at peak dinner time, we don't know.
