바라당수산시장 Susan sijang means 'seafood market'; none of the posts explain the word Baradang.

A sashimi place that doubles as a bar on Singwang-ro 52 in Yeon-dong, Jeju City, near Nuwemaru Street. Two of the six visitors had the 60,000-won assorted sashimi set, which came with three kinds of fish, seafood sides, steamed scallops and oysters, grilled fish and spicy stew. One post priced mackerel sashimi at 20,000 won and abalone at 10,000 won. We read 9 posts from 15 December 2025 to 2 June 2026; 6 of them say they were paid a commission.

What sets it apart

  1. You fetch your own drinks. Two posts describe it, one likening it to a beer warehouse; one says there was sake, whisky, soju and beer.
  2. Two posts say the owner talked them out of over-ordering: one was told the stew and seafood would come with the sashimi set anyway, the other was told one dish was big enough. The second of these was a paid post.
  3. Five posts call the prices low or fair; three of those were not paid posts. A January 2026 visitor was told the owner also runs a wholesale seafood business, but that is hearsay and we do not count it.

These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.

The most ordered dish is modeumhoe hansang (모둠회 한상) — 2 of 6 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Where it is

Map showing where Baradang Susan Sijang is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post mentions the floor or any stairs; only the address says ground floor.

Nobody mentions an entrance step or wheelchair or stroller access. That means unknown, not absent.

No post says where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 9 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Three December 2025 posts share the same promotional wording and the same menu list in the same order, without saying what they ate; we did not count them as visits.
  • A January 2026 post was told the house served raw deep-sea shrimp at first but has stopped; it may no longer be on the menu.
  • Opening hours appear only in one copied listing (daily, 1 pm to 5 am); no visitor confirmed them.
  • Only three prices were written down. Nobody priced the pork-and-seafood platter, clams or ramyeon, or what a meal costs per person.
  • The phone number appears only in one copied listing, and nobody says whether reservations are taken.
  • Nobody describes getting there by bus; two posts simply walked over from nearby hotels.
  • No one reports waiting. One January 2026 post, about a month after opening, found the room empty; we do not know what busy hours are like.
  • Two posts went with family (a daughter, a mother) and one with a friend; none describe going alone or in a large group.
