Babiana

바비아나

Compiled from 4 blog posts read in fullSources →

Babiana is the breakfast buffet room on the lobby floor of Building A at The Qube Resort in Seogwipo. It runs 7 to 10 a.m.; adults pay 18,000 won at list price, 14,000 won if guests buy ahead, or 15,000 won on the day. The spread is Korean home cooking — salads, namul, pollack soup, spicy pork — plus bread, cereal, fruit and machine coffee. We read 7 posts from July 2025 to September 2026, all sections of resort reviews; 5 say they ate the breakfast.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. It is set up for children: two posts mention high chairs and child tableware, and one parent built a mild bibimbap from the namul that the child finished quickly. Under-threes eat free, and one post paid only for one child thanks to a two-adults-one-child-free deal.
  2. Prices are identical in every post from July 2025 to September 2026 — adults 18,000/14,000/15,000 won, children 13,000/11,000 won — copied from the resort's own table. One post gave a view: under 20,000 won, it did not feel expensive. Another noted the room-plus-breakfast-for-two package cost only 10,000 won more than the room alone.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 4 posts read)

The floor is unclear. The registered address says basement level 1 of Building A; two posts place it on the "1st-floor lobby", and one calls the lobby B1. The resort sits on a slope, so the lobby is probably entered at ground level, but we could not confirm.

No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether wheelchairs or strollers get in. We don't know.

No post says where the nearest toilet is.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 6 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post covers getting there by bus. The resort is on a hillside, and posts say it is 5 to 10 minutes by car from central Seogwipo.
  • Only one post mentions waiting: it walked straight in on a weekend. We don't know about peak-season mornings.
  • Two posts went with family and one as a couple; none mention going with friends or alone.
  • All five visiting posts give hours of 7 to 10 a.m., two adding last entry at 9:30, copied from the resort's notice. One post said breakfast ran every day in peak season but was unsure afterwards; off-season days are unknown.
  • The phone number 064-766-0855 that two posts give is the resort's main line. No post gives a restaurant number or a way to book breakfast alone; guests bought breakfast at check-in or with the room.
