Seongsan Godeungeo Ssambap sits on Seopjikoji-ro 25beon-gil in Seongsan, between Gwangchigi Beach and Seopjikoji. The main dish is mackerel braised with whole heads of aged kimchi, eaten wrapped in lettuce and perilla leaves: 18,000 won per person, minimum two portions. Soy-marinated crab comes once as a side with every order. The current shop is in a new building; one writer remembered it as an old-style eatery before. We read 30 posts dated 23 September to 20 October 2026. Twelve were about other mackerel-ssambap restaurants with similar names and were set aside, four were list posts we did not count, and our counts come from the 14 posts that ate here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Side dishes and wrapping greens are refilled from a self-service bar, mentioned in six posts. The crab is the exception: one writer called it the crab that cannot be refilled, and three posts say another plate costs 5,000 won.
- Six posts said the seasoning was not heavy. Three said the crab was not too salty, and three said the same of the kimchi braise, one adding that it was slightly sweet.
- Two posts that came with a baby noted high chairs and a microwave for warming baby food. One family wheeled a sleeping baby in by stroller and said the room was wide enough for it.
- Three posts called the portions big. One thought it looked small at first until they found plenty of mackerel under the kimchi; another noted the rice bowl came filled to the top.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside

No post says which floor the restaurant is on; only the address says ground floor, so we do not know.
Nobody mentions a step or stairs at the entrance. One family brought a stroller inside; no post describes a wheelchair visit.
No post says where the toilets are or whether they are separated by gender. That means we do not know, not that there are none.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 18 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The premises have changed. A September 2026 post said the place used to feel like an old-style eatery and is now cleaner and bigger, but did not know whether it was remodelled or moved; an October post called it a newly built building. We do not know when or how it changed. Every post we read describes the current shop.
- Opinions differ on fishiness: two posts found the mackerel free of any fishy smell, one said it had a little.
- Not every post was positive. One found the kimchi braise no different from the usual kind, and another said it was not good and would not recommend it.
- Only two posts mention waiting: one waited about five minutes in a full room, another arrived around 9 a.m. and found a single other table. Nobody reports the wait at lunchtime.
- No post arrived by bus; everyone who described the trip came by rental car. We do not know how practical public transport is.
- Of posts that say who they came with, three came as a couple, two as families with a baby, and one alone.
- Seven posts list the same hours, daily 8:00–21:00 with last orders at 20:00, but all of them copied it from the listing. Nobody mentions a break time or a closing day. One post ate breakfast there at around 9 a.m.
- Prices: four posts agree that the mackerel ssambap and the black-pork stir-fry are 18,000 won per person, and two called that good value. The hairtail braise is 65,000 won (medium) or 80,000 won (large), and one couple switched to the mackerel after seeing that. A meal for two of the ssambap alone is 36,000 won.
- Four posts copied the phone number 0507-1427-4944; one list post taken from Kakao Map gives 064-783-4944. Nobody says whether the restaurant takes reservations.
