A two-storey cafe on the shore between Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seongsan port (269-37 Hando-ro). It shares a compound with the Haeilri Pool & Spa hotel and the Japanese restaurant Haeilri Cheongmyeong. Big windows look out on Ilchulbong and Udo, and the lawn has photo spots such as a giant swing and a 'stairway to heaven'. You buy drinks and bread and sit inside or out. Three 2026 posts put an americano at 8,000 won. We read 30 posts dated 3 to 22 October 2026. Nineteen describe an actual visit, made between October 2025 and September 2026. We set aside six posts about other places, four of them only about Cheongmyeong. Two posts say the site used to be Oreuda Cafe and was renamed Haeilri after a remodel.

What sets it apart
- Seven posts mentioned outdoor seating: parasol tables, raised platforms, loungers and a hammock. One visitor found the parasols folded on a windy day, and another found the seaward glass door locked because of the wind. Two posts warned that birds go for your bread outside.

Five posts confirmed the car park: one described a private lot behind the building, another said it was not huge but had a fair number of spaces. The access lane is single-track, so one car has to pull over when two meet. Three visitors parked at Ilchulbong and walked 15 to 20 minutes instead. Capacity figures like '40 cars' were copied from listings, so we did not count them.

Seating is on two floors, and six posts mentioned the upper one. Those who recommended it said the sea looks wider from there and the tables are more spread out. But two summer visitors found the upstairs windows hot. One said it was too hot to sit and suggested the ground floor for mornings and midday, or sunset if you can choose.
No post says whether there is a step at the door, whether a wheelchair or pushchair fits, or whether there is a lift. One post says you take the stairs to the upper floor.
Two posts said the toilets are clean, but none said whether they are inside or separated by gender.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts disagree on the pool. One said it is for the guesthouse; another swam for free after buying a drink. The second warned it is sometimes closed for cleaning, so phone ahead. One post gave pool hours of 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- No post mentioned waiting in line, though one found the ground-floor window seats already full. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is never a wait.
- Nobody came by bus. One took a taxi, and several walked over from Ilchulbong. The only bus note, a nine-minute walk from the Seongsan-ri stop to the compound, came from a post about the restaurant, so we did not count it.
- All six posts that gave hours wrote 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, and two added that it never closes. These were copied into post headers; nobody wrote about turning up at those times. The restaurant in the same compound closes on Wednesdays, but it is a separate business. Five posts gave the phone number 0507-1370-9189. None said anything about reservations.
- The site used to be Oreuda Cafe; one post says it closed for a remodel and reopened as Haeilri. A visit from October 2025 already uses the new name, so the change came before that, but we do not know exactly when. It is not the same place as Orrrn, a cafe on nearby Haemaji coastal road.
