돈목장 서귀포점 Donmokjang Seogwipo Donmokjang reads as 'pig ranch' (don, pork; mokjang, ranch) — the sign carries a pig mascot and the house serves Jeju black pork.
Compiled from 18 blog posts read in fullSources →
Donmokjang Seogwipo is a pork house at 56 Sinseogwi-ro in Seogwipo's new town, where Jeju black pork is grilled on a huge cast-iron pot lid together with minari and bracken. The menu lists plain belly at 15,000 won per 150 g and skin-on belly at 20,000 won per 200 g; the seafood set with abalone and squid is 30,000 won a head, two minimum. Meals end with rice fried on the same lid, or cold noodles. Two October 2026 posts call it newly opened. We read 30 posts from August 13 to October 22, 2026, and counted 18 as real visits. Eleven posts from October 19 to 22 share the same hashtags and sentences, so we did not count them as visits — seven of them describe weekday lunches or weekend mornings at a place that opens at 4 p.m.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Side dishes are refilled from a self-serve bar. Fourteen posts went back for more there — lettuce, scallion salad, kimchi, bean sprouts, garlic. Two mention aprons you take yourself, and one notes a microwave for warming children's food.
- One post saw people waiting: once it passed 6:30 p.m., a queue formed. Three found it quiet — around 5 p.m. on a weekday, around 6 p.m., and on a weekend. During the national sports festival in early October, one post found every seat taken by groups.
- Four posts booked through Naver before going; one says the side dishes were already laid out when they arrived. Many posts give the same phone number, 0507-1357-9951.
- There is a partitioned room at the back. Six posts saw or photographed it, and ten describe the room as spacious — five say the tables are far enough apart not to notice neighbours. The '12 seats' and 'up to 70' figures are the shop's own. One post alone called the place small.
2 more
- Leave a Naver review and you get steamed egg. Seven posts mention the event; two say a second review earns fried rice, and two did take the fried rice.
- Guests mostly grill for themselves; two posts mention a printed how-to-grill guide. Two say staff grilled for them, one noting a server would come by and flip the meat though not full-time. Both posts praising friendliness single out the same older woman on the floor.

Parking
3 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 3 of 18 posts |

Parking is the public lot across the street. Eleven posts mention parking, mostly repeating the shop's notice (one minute's walk, roadside after 7 p.m.); three describe actually parking — one photographed the shop from the free lot, one praised the lot, and one parked on the road on a weekend, noting it looked like a no-parking zone on weekdays. The copied notices give the lot as 10 cars or 20-plus.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | 1 of 18 posts |
|---|
We do not know about floors or steps. 'First floor' comes from the address; no post describes stairs or a step. One mentions a glass front door, another a walk uphill to reach it.
No one wrote about getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair — that means unknown, not impossible.
One post says the toilet is inside the restaurant; another only saw a toilet sign left of the entrance. One calls it clean. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in a copied listing.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 12 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-10-21 | 6 posts in one day |
|---|---|
| 2026-10-20 | 4 posts in one day |
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post calls it expensive and seven call it good value. Side prices disagree, though: the spicy cold noodles appear as 6,000 and 8,000 won, the fried rice as 4,000 and 5,000 won a portion, and the squid set under two names at 23,000 and 18,000 won. Most paid 5,000 won for the stew, but two say it came free.
- Fourteen posts give the hours as 4 to 10 p.m., with last orders at 9 (eleven posts) — mostly copied from Naver. Three note 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on public holidays. None mentions a closing day.
- One post discloses sponsorship and two are review-programme visits; the other 15 counted visits say nothing about who paid. The eleven templated posts are left out entirely.
- Nobody describes arriving by bus or on foot; 'near the World Cup stadium and E-mart' is a location note, not a route.
- Companions: three family visits, all with children; two couples; one group of friends; the rest don't say. Two posts saw high chairs.
