Jinju Sikdang
진주식당 Jinju Sikdang simply means 'Jinju Restaurant' — jinju is the Korean word for pearl and also the name of a city, and none of the posts say which one the name means.

A stew-and-abalone house on Taepyeong-ro in Seogwipo, near Cheonjiyeon Falls and the Jeju Olle Travellers' Center. Obunjagi and abalone hot pots, abalone porridge, sea urchin seaweed soup and abalone stone-pot rice come up again and again, and three posts mention boiled pork arriving as a free side. Many writers came for breakfast or brunch on their last day in Jeju. We read 9 posts from August 2025 to October 2026; 8 of them describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The prices are not low. Two posts called it expensive: a November 2025 post put the obunjagi stew at 25,000 won a bowl and called that steep, and a December post simply said it wasn't cheap. One more writer couldn't decide either way.
- Two posts say there is room for three or four cars in front of the restaurant; nobody mentions a larger lot.
- Two posts found the seasoning mild: one said that made it a good breakfast choice, another found the stone-pot rice a little bland.
- One post describes a whole wall covered in celebrity autographs; the same post found the room very large with many tables.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside

Upstairs seating is unconfirmed — one writer only thought there might be seats on the second floor without going up.
No post says which floor you eat on or whether there are stairs.
Nobody mentions a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that it's fine.
Only one post says the restroom is inside; nobody mentions separate men's and women's rooms or their size.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 8 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes getting there by bus; one writer simply walked over after finishing Olle Trail route 7 nearby.
- No post mentions waiting in line. Two say it was busy or that tour groups kept arriving, but neither describes a queue.
- Only one post says who they came with — a three-generation family trip with two small children — so we can't say how it suits friends or couples.
- Three posts list the hours as 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, but all three copied that from an info box, and closing days are only 'check separately.' No one mentions a break time or last orders.
- The only price on record is 25,000 won for the obunjagi stew (November 2025). Nobody gives prices for the abalone stew, the set or the porridge, or says what a meal costs in total.
- Three posts give the phone number, 064-762-5158, but none says whether you can book a table.
