Blue Hill is the breakfast buffet on the ground floor of The Island Blue Hotel on Taepyeong-ro in Seogwipo. It opens 7:00–9:30 a.m. and one price covers Korean side dishes and soup, spicy pork and fried rice, sausages and fries, salads, bread and waffles, cereal and yogurt, fruit and coffee. In 2026 posts the list price is 23,000 won for adults, with a lower rate when booked on the hotel site or paid at check-in. One post noted that guests return their own trays to a drop-off point. We read 17 posts from November 2024 to October 2026; 8 of them describe actually eating breakfast here. The rest are stay-only hotel reviews, promotional posts, or other places with the same name.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Five posts came with children. Two of them noted high chairs, and one also mentioned child-size tableware. Several posts say children under 36 months eat free.
  2. No post reports waiting. Two that touched on it found it uncrowded at 8:30 and nearly empty early in the morning. One weekday visit around 8:00 in December 2024 found it fairly busy but was shown straight to a table.
  3. All three posts that described the room said there is plenty of seating: tables for two and four, lots of tables, room for over 100 people.

Things you can check on site

  • Seats to sit and eat 3 of 8 posts
  • High chairs 2 of 8 posts
  • Origin labelling posted 1 of 8 posts

These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.

The most ordered dish is josik bwipe (조식 뷔페(성인)) — 8 of 8 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

4 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park4 of 8 posts

Parking is the hotel's. Four posts describe parking there: regular cars go into an underground mechanical tower, while SUVs, vans and EVs use self-park spaces underground or an outdoor lot next door. One said the parking attendant was not friendly.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 6 (of 8 posts read)

It is on the ground floor. Six of the posts from people who ate here put it off the hotel's ground-floor lobby, and one gave directions: turn left out of the elevator and it is right there.

No post says anything about steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we do not know, not that there is a problem.

No post says where the nearest toilet to the restaurant is; every bathroom described belongs to a guest room.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 14 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • The price has changed over time. Three posts from Nov–Dec 2024 gave 20,000 won (adult) and 15,000 won (child) at the door. Posts from November 2025 on list 23,000 and 18,000 won. The discounted adult rate differs: 18,000 won in a November 2025 post, 13,000 won in 2026 posts. Room packages can include breakfast, so what a meal actually costs depends on how you booked.
  • All eight posts from diners give the opening hours as 7:00–9:30 a.m., and five add that last entry is 9:00. One promotional post that did not visit says it opens at 7:30. No post mentions closing days.
  • No diner described arriving by bus or transit. The ten-minute walk to Olle Market is about the hotel's location, and the airport limousine 600 appears only in a promotional post that did not visit.
  • The phone number 064-762-6532 is the hotel's. No post explains reserving breakfast on its own; writers added it to their room booking or paid at check-in. Whether non-guests can eat here, no one says.
  • One December 2024 post disclosed sponsorship. An August 2026 post was a promotion built around booking links and coupons, so we did not count it. Stay-only posts that just copied the breakfast hours and prices from a sign were not used as evidence either.
