Garibonga Gwangyang-jeom
가리본가 광양점 Gari is a word for galbi (beef short ribs) — the posts call it either an old Korean word or Jeju dialect — and bonga means 'the original house'; Gwangyang is the name of this branch's neighborhood.

Garibonga Gwangyang is a galbitang and braised short rib restaurant at 42 Seosa-ro 19-gil (Samdo 1-dong), near Jeju City Hall. Four of the six visit posts had the wang-garitang, priced at 15,000 won in May 2025, and three describe lifting the big rib out of the earthenware bowl and cutting it with the tongs and scissors left on the table. We read 9 posts dated from November 1, 2024 to March 3, 2026; 6 of them count as visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Four of the six visit posts call the room spacious, and three of those also call it clean. On a separate room the posts differ: one says there is a separate dining area, another only guesses that groups and families can use a room.
- One post says the tables sit on a raised floor you step up onto with your shoes on. No other post mentions it.
- One post noticed several high chairs. No post says it went with children.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post says which floor the restaurant is on — not that it is ground floor, just that nobody wrote it down.
Nobody wrote about an entrance step or wheelchair and stroller access. One post's mention of tables on a raised floor suggests a step inside, but we do not know its height.
No post says whether the restroom is inside or separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 9 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices changed over time: a February 2025 post copied a Naver listing of 14,000 won for wang-garitang, and a May 2025 post paid 15,000 won. No later post gives a price. Two posts call the place on the pricey side, and one remarks that prices have gone up a lot. Nobody gives a price for the braised ribs.
- Five posts give the same hours, 11:00 to 21:20 with a 14:30 to 17:00 break, and four say it closes on Sundays, though most of these are copied information blocks. Only one post gives a last order time, 20:40.
- No post describes getting there by bus or on foot. One gives landmarks: behind a gas station and a dermatology clinic, next to the Tamna disability welfare center.
- No post reports waiting. One that arrived early says it was full by the time they finished (though it is unclear which branch that was), and another says customers came in quickly once the 5 p.m. break ended.
- Each kind of company shows up only once — alone, with an acquaintance, with family, and with a group — so we cannot say who usually goes.
- Four posts list the phone number 064-711-7448. None says whether reservations are taken.
