스타벅스 그랜드조선제주점 Seutabeokseu Geuraendeu Joseon Jeju-jeom A Starbucks named for the Grand Josun Jeju hotel, on whose main-building rooftop floor it sits.

Compiled from 11 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Starbucks on the R (rooftop) floor of the Grand Josun Jeju hotel's main building in Jungmun, Seogwipo. Floor-to-ceiling windows look over the hotel garden and pool toward the sea, there is a lounge lined with books, and unlike most Starbucks it sells cocktails and beer. Several posts note you don't need to be a hotel guest. Jeju-only drinks were listed at 7,500–8,500 won and cocktails at 9,900–14,900 won. We read 24 posts dated 4–22 October 2026; 13 were about the hotel itself or other places and were set aside, leaving 11 that describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Six of the 11 visit posts describe the view: terraced, rice-paddy-like landscaping, the pool, forest and the sea beyond. One writer arrived at opening and found the window seats empty; another found them full and sat on an inside sofa. One post felt the sea was only barely visible.
  2. Five posts mention books: a wall of them at the entrance and more scattered through the lounge. One parent read an English picture book to their baby; another said their child sat and read. One post relayed that the books come from a publisher collaboration — hearsay, not counted.
  3. Three posts say the branch sells beer, and more mention cocktails. Prices copied from the menu agree across posts: Pink Grapefruit Rum Tonic and Hibiscus Tea Cosmopolitan 9,900 won, Purple Mango Dragon Fruit Piña Colada 14,900 won, and a house lager at 12,000 won (tall only). None of the 11 visitors actually drank one.
  4. Four posts were written by visitors with children, and two noted high chairs. One found it quiet enough to rest with a baby; another fed their baby a bottle there before leaving.

Parking

2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park2 of 11 posts

Two posts used or located the hotel car park — to the left of the main building, beside the front gate. One said it is smaller than at other hotels and suggested the Hill Suite lot opposite if full. The claim that parking is free was copied from a listing site, so we did not count it.

Getting inside

Lift to the floor4 of 11 posts
Step-free access1 of 11 posts

Every post places the store on the main building's R (rooftop) floor; none mentions a basement or second level. It is an indoor shop — no post describes outdoor rooftop seating.

Four posts say to take the main-building elevator to R. One added that the lobby where you board is on the 5th floor. A parent with a 9-month-old in a stroller wrote that the route used the elevator and had no stairs. One other post described a different route: out the 6th-floor outdoor door and along a deck.

Only one post (with a stroller) says the route had no stairs; nobody mentions the entrance step or wheelchair access.

No post says where the restroom is or whether it is gender-separated. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there isn't one.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • One post says there is not a single power outlet, in keeping with the book-café concept, and the writer struggled to use a laptop. No other post addressed outlets.
  • One post says staff made the drink wrong twice before getting it right. It is the only post that comments on staff.
  • No visit post describes getting here by bus; visitors were either staying at the hotel or came by car.
  • No post reports waiting. One found the window seats full; another said the inner seats stayed mostly empty during a 40-minute stay.
  • Six posts all give opening hours of 08:00–22:00 daily, but only one read it off the sign at the door; the rest copied it from listings. No post mentions closing days or what hours cocktails are served.
  • Prices appear only per drink; no post totals what one person spent. One post says prices match ordinary Starbucks despite the hotel setting. Nobody recorded the price of an Americano.
  • The only phone number given is Starbucks' central line, 1522-3232, in one post; nobody mentions reservations.
  • One post felt the black-sesame Frappuccino had become less sweet and more sesame-forward than before and wondered if the recipe changed; when, if at all, is unknown.
