A hairtail house at 99 Cheonjeyeon-ro in Jungmun, Seogwipo, serving grilled and braised hairtail as sets with raw fish, grilled abalone, mackerel braised with aged kimchi and sea-urchin seaweed soup. We read 9 posts dated 30 August to 28 October 2026; 6 describe actually eating there (visits from August 2025 to October 2026), the rest are a desk-research comparison and two multi-restaurant lists. Three posts say staff deboned the grilled fish at the table. Five of the six visits were family meals, four with children.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Three posts say the seasoning is mild: two meant it as praise (not too hot or salty, suited the mothers), one found the braise bland. None called it salty.
  2. Four posts brought children, from a seven-month-old to twins; one says the kids ate seaweed soup with rice and grilled hairtail. No post mentions high chairs or changing tables here.
  3. Two posts got side dishes refilled — squid jeotgal and kimchi in one, every side except the abalone in the other.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park2 of 6 posts

Two posts parked there themselves: one found ample space in front of the building, another arrived in a rented minivan and called the lot roomy. A list post's line about using the Jungmun tourist-centre car park is copied from the shop's listing and not counted.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Toilet inside1 of 6 posts

No post says which floor the dining room is on or mentions stairs — only that it is a large building. That is unknown, not a confirmed ground floor.

Nobody says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair got in; even the post with a baby does not mention a pushchair here.

One post notes the toilet is inside the restaurant and clean; none say whether it is split by gender or how big it is.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 9 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No one arrived by bus; two posts came by car. The bus routes to the Jungmun Resort entrance stop (five minutes' walk) appear only as copied shop information.
  • Only one post covers waiting: around 2 pm the place was empty. Another saw it fill up over an early dinner but did not wait. Whether there is a queue at peak times is unknown.
  • Five of the six visits were with family; none went with friends, a partner or alone, so we cannot say how it suits a solo diner.
  • Two posts give daily hours of 09:30-22:00 with a 15:30-16:00 break, but both copied them from the map listing. Breakfast service is likewise from the shop's own blurb; no one went in the morning.
  • Only one post lists prices: 115,000 won for the braised-hairtail special for two to three and 45,000 won for a small grilled hairtail (October 2026). Two others called it good value without figures; one chose it for a discount through the Tamnao app.
  • No post mentions booking. The phone number 0507-1455-8588 appears in four posts, all copied from map or shop listings.
  • Two posts (22 and 27 October) paste the map listing's hours, and one repeats the shop's own blurb word for word as its recommendation points. Neither discloses sponsorship, but read their praise with that in mind.
