A 24-hour seolleongtang (ox-bone soup) house at 140 Ora-ro in Jeju City, next to the Jeju Sports Complex. Seolleongtang is 14,000 won, the special version 17,000, knee-cartilage soup 22,000 and oxtail soup 25,000, with cold noodles (14,000) in summer. The soup arrives unsalted for you to season with salt, pepper and scallions, and you cut your own cabbage kimchi and radish kimchi from crocks on the table. It is one of several Jeju branches of the Pujuok chain. We read 20 posts from December 2024 to September 2026; 16 describe a visit (one about the Nohyeong branch was set aside).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Food comes fast. One post timed it at about a minute — the soup was on the table before the kids' coats were off — and another said the same.
  2. Two posts noted the soups come almost unseasoned; one suggested tasting first and adding salt bit by bit.
  3. Kimchi is self-serve: three posts described taking as much cabbage and radish kimchi as you want and cutting it yourself, and nearly every visit post talks about the kimchi.
  4. Six posts found portions generous — cartilage soup big enough to share, a large cold-noodle bowl, a large boiled-beef platter that turned out bigger than it looked. One post thought the special soup looked small for the price but ended up full.
2 more
  1. Two posts went with children and two mentioned high chairs; one said a 19-month-old happily drank the broth.
  2. Four posts called the room large; one noted a high ceiling and another a separate room with floor seating. One mentioned you can watch the broth cauldrons in the kitchen.

Easy by car. Nine posts mentioned parking firsthand, four calling it roomy: lots on both sides of the entrance, plus free roadside bays out front when they fill.

Getting inside

Toilet inside1 of 14 posts
Separate restrooms1 of 14 posts

No post described the floor level from experience; '1st floor' appears only in a copied address.

We don't know about steps at the entrance or wheelchair and stroller access — not that there are barriers, just that no one wrote about it.

Only one post covered restrooms: by the counter, separate for men and women.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 17 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions on price split: one post called the 14,000-won soup steep, two said it isn't cheap but felt fair. A meal starts at 14,000 won.
  • One post (August 2024 visit) found a slight gamey smell in the beef; no other post mentioned it, and one called the broth clean rather than heavy.
  • Twelve posts agree on 24 hours, open every day, though most copied it from an info block; one listed both no holidays and a Monday closure in the same line. A Lunar New Year listing showed one closed day.
  • We know little about waits. One post said tables turned over fast so the wait wasn't long; no one described a line. Posts from early morning, morning and 9 p.m. found it quiet.
  • No one described getting there by bus; posts only say it's a five-minute walk from Aehyang Stadium and about nine minutes' drive from the airport.
  • Company varied: two posts with friends, one with a partner, one with a sister, one with a group of parents and kids — no single pattern.
  • Six posts list the same phone number, 064-727-8888, but none said whether reservations are taken.
