Seomgotgan is a black-pork grill on Yeonbuk-ro in Ora-dong, Jeju City, in a commercial building with its own parking tower. Order any set or meal and you get a free self-serve bar of glass noodles, spicy stir-fried pork, rice cakes, seasoned greens and lettuce; the meat is grilled at your table. In autumn 2026 posts, the Jeju pork belly set is 18,000 won a head, the black-pork neck set 17,000 won, and a mixed plate added in August 18,000 won; posts from July 2025 to January 2026 put the belly set at 15,000 won. We read 30 posts from July 2025 to October 2026; 27 describe an actual meal.

What sets it apart
- Expect a wait at lunch. Eight posts say they waited; one walked straight in on a weekday evening. The times given: over 30 minutes as seventh in line on a weekday lunch in July 2025, about 30 minutes as a weekend baseline, roughly 10 minutes at dinner. One diner joined the waitlist remotely, ran errands, and came back when a phone alert said to enter. There is no afternoon break; the two posts that went around 3 p.m. both found the room still busy.
- Eight posts mention a waiting area by the entrance, and nine describe picture books and comics left out for children; one family read together while their table was cleared.
- Sixteen posts describe a large room with generous space between tables, and three mention the high ceiling. Seven saw the private function room themselves; one counts 45 seats with a projector and microphone. Several posts suggest it for first-birthday parties and company dinners.
- Six posts order from a tablet or kiosk at the table, and two note a one-main-per-person rule. One repeats a notice that diners who order nothing pay 13,000 won for the bar; we have not confirmed it.

Eighteen posts found parking easy and none had trouble; eight remark on its size. It is the building's own lot (Sobong Hill Tower); two posts say it was free with no registration and one that the fee was cleared on the spot. A July 2025 post notes three floors of parking, and one diner walked from the car park to the restaurant without stepping into the rain.

Two posts (July and November 2025) place it on the ground floor of the parking-tower building, while the registered address says second basement level; no post explains the difference. Two posts entered by a back door from the car park.
Only one post addresses steps: an October 2026 post says there is almost no threshold, so strollers and wheelchairs roll in easily. The same post gets other details wrong, such as calling it a standalone building, so treat this as a single account. Nobody mentions a lift or ramp.
No one describes the toilets from experience. Two posts list separate men's and women's toilets in copied info blocks, which we do not count. We do not know whether the toilets are inside the restaurant.

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices have changed. Posts from July 2025 to January 2026 give 15,000 won for the black-pork belly set; posts from September and October 2026 give 18,000 won for a 150 g Jeju pork belly set. The 2026 menu lists Jeju pork belly and Jeju black-pork belly separately, so we cannot tell whether the same cut went up or the cut changed. The neck set is 17,000 won in both periods. Two posts say rice is 1,000 won extra; one from October 2025 says it came with the set. Twelve posts call it cheap; none call it expensive.
- Opinions on the food differ. Two posts found the pork thick and two found it juicy. One in August 2026 found the belly tough, heard the next table say the same, and rated the bar below nearby rivals. One in October 2025 found the side dishes sweet and heavily seasoned.
- Nobody came by bus; every post gives directions by car, typically ten minutes from Jeju airport. That does not mean it is unreachable by bus — just that no one wrote about it.
- Of the posts that say who they came with, eleven came with family and one with friends. None came alone; one hashtag claims solo dining is fine, but that post does not describe eating alone.
- Fifteen posts from October 2025 on give opening hours of 11:00-21:00, thirteen say closed Mondays and ten give last orders at 20:00, with no afternoon break — mostly copied from listings. A July 2025 post gave 11:30-22:00 with a 15:00-17:00 break and Sunday closing; no later post repeats that. A September 2025 write-up claiming a 10:30 start and no closing day mixes in another restaurant's details, so we ignore it.
- Fourteen posts give the same phone number, 064-787-9292. Three say you can book, one of them via Naver; no one describes booking by phone.
- Posts from late August to October 2026 repeat the same points in nearly the same order: the 'many revisits' badge, the mixed plate new since August, the function room with projector and microphone, and noodles or rice bowls for anyone skipping meat. Only one discloses sponsorship, but they read like a single promotional batch, so their praise deserves a discount.
