Sandong Yori Jeonmunjeom
산동요리전문점 The name simply means 'Shandong cuisine specialist' — Sandong is the Korean reading of Shandong, the northern Chinese coastal province whose cooking the house serves.

Sandong Yori Jeonmunjeom is a Shandong-style Chinese restaurant on the second floor of 48 Noyeon-ro in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City. Tables share plates such as braised pork ribs and sweet-and-sour pork (24,000 won each) and hand-made chive-and-pork dumplings (16,000 won); rice doesn't come with the food and is ordered separately for 1,000 won. We read 23 posts from November 2025 to October 2026, 14 of which describe an actual meal. The place opened in November 2025, and no post reports anything changing since.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Of the 14 visit posts, 12 called the dining room big and 12 mentioned private rooms. Three described large round lazy-Susan tables in the rooms, and one counted two rooms. Two posts saw groups of Chinese tourists eating there.
- You order on a tablet at the table, as 8 posts noted; several said the photos made unfamiliar dishes easy to pick. An August 2026 writer tried ordering in Chinese and was told to use the table tablet. Several posts said coriander is left off on request.
- Nine posts said portions are large: two women couldn't finish three plates, one writer took leftover dumplings home, and another said one egg fried rice fed two or three.
- Several posts described a big tree and pond between the kitchen and the tables; one noticed turtles and fish in it, which they first took for models.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 8 of 13 posts |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 3 of 13 posts |
| Step-free access | 1 of 13 posts |
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 13 posts read) |
The restaurant is on the second floor (8 posts); no one mentions seating on the ground floor or below.
The restaurant is upstairs: 8 posts mention the second floor and 3 say they rode the lift up. One post said the lift made it usable with a stroller or wheelchair. One writer said the street entrance is small and they circled the block once before finding it.
Only one post says a wheelchair or stroller could get in, and none mentions a step or ramp at the door. One post noted there are no high chairs.
One post placed the toilets outside the restaurant, next to the lift; two said they were clean and stocked with mouthwash. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing details.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 22 posts we gathered, 9 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2025-11-24 | 3 posts in one day |
|---|---|
| 2025-11-23 | 2 posts in one day |

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions split on salt: two posts found it strong, one found it mild. Many said the braised ribs are salty enough to want rice.
- Nine posts from 21-24 November 2025 list the same five dishes and the same amenity list in the same order with no prices, so we did not count them as visits. Five December posts share identical hashtags and copied listing details. None disclosed sponsorship.
- Twelve visit posts gave opening hours: 11 said 10:00-22:00 and one said 10:00-20:00. Most copied these from the map listing, and none mentions a break, last order or closing day. An August 2026 writer ate there after 9 pm.
- Every price comes from December 2025 posts; the two 2026 posts give none. No one wrote what they paid per person. Two posts said the dishes were reasonably priced.
- Eight posts list the phone number 0507-1412-2778. Reservations appear only in copied listing details; no one wrote that they booked.
- No post mentions waiting for a table. That doesn't mean there is never a wait, only that nobody wrote about one. One post said the food came out quickly.
- No one wrote about getting there by bus. Posts put it 7-10 minutes by car from the airport and within walking distance of Dream Tower.
- Who people came with doesn't form a pattern: one post with a friend, one family with a child, one by car; several couples came as two, which we did not count separately.
