Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Three posts noticed mostly Chinese diners. A December 2025 post found all three occupied tables were Chinese guests, served by Chinese staff; a September 2026 visitor arrived first and found everyone else Chinese.
  2. Three posts describe ordering on a table tablet — mainly for alcohol and requests, since the food is self-serve. One said staff come over to help.
  3. Four posts called it clean and three called it spacious; the remark that the ingredients were kept clean shows up in both 2025 and 2026.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Where it is

Map showing where Hwasan Hwoguo is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No one who went mentioned which floor it is on; only the address says ground floor.

No one who went said whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. The one mention of strollers comes from a post generated from listing data, so we didn't count it.

No one wrote about the toilets — whether they are inside or separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 15 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Prices depend on when the post was written: dinner was 21,800 won until August 2025 and 23,800 won from December. One post gave both 23,800 and 29,800 won, which we can't reconcile. Broth adds 5,000 won per table (15,000 for the Chongqing broth) and alcohol is extra. A leftover-food surcharge appears only in a copied post, so we didn't count it.
  • Opinions split on the lamb: one post found it gamey, another noticed no smell. One post noted the meat is frozen.
  • No one wrote about waiting. Two posts found it quiet on a weekday evening and after 7 p.m. in April 2025; a party of five booked ahead for a weekday dinner. Nobody who went described a weekend evening.
  • No one came by bus. Posts say it is walkable from the Park Hyatt and a short way from Dream Tower, with the Nohyeong drive-through Starbucks across the road.
  • Companions: friends in four posts, a partner in two, family with children in two, and a group of five in one. The family post said the kids happily ate the beef.
  • Opening hours appear in three posts, all copied from listings: daily 12:00 to midnight with a break from 15:00 to 17:00 in two, and a 13:00 to 17:00 break in one. The only word on closing days is that none was posted.
  • Three posts give the same phone number, 0507-1470-9335. One group of five booked a weekday dinner in February 2025 and was given a six-person table; the same post says Tamnaneunjeon local currency is accepted but without the 10% rebate.
  • We set aside two posts: one says outright it was written from Naver listing data, and another is labelled self-paid but contains only generic praise. Two neighbourhood and new-opening lists were also excluded.
