Gukbin Daebanjeom
국빈대반점 Gukbin means a state guest and daebanjeom a grand Chinese restaurant — roughly 'the Grand Hall for State Guests'.

A big Chinese restaurant at 127 Wolgwang-ro in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, in a building fronted by a gilded dragon. It serves everything from single bowls — black-pig jjajang noodles at 8,000 won, seafood ganjjajang and jjamppong at 11,000, small sweet-and-sour pork at 15,000 (2025 posts) — up to set courses; a January 2026 post paid 21,000 won for the lunch A course. We read 10 posts from January 2025 to April 2026, nine of them first-hand visits, by families, couples, friends and office lunch groups.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Nearly everyone orders the sweet-and-sour pork: five of nine visits did. Three described the batter as thin and crisp, and three noted the sauce came separately for dipping. One found the batter crisp but the meat firm enough to feel chewy.
- Three posts call the dining room large — big enough for families and groups, and roomy enough that one office-lunch regular rarely waits. Three mention the rotating round tables, one mentions private rooms, and one notes a mirrored back wall that makes the room look even bigger.
- One post notes the restaurant accepts Tamnaneun-jeon, Jeju's local currency, earning 10% back on payment.

Parking
2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Two visitors describe the lot: a dedicated car park right in front, big enough that even nervous drivers need not worry. A third mention came from a copied info block, so we didn't count it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 9 posts |
|---|
The address says floors 1–2, but nobody wrote which floor they ate on or whether the upstairs is used for seating.
Nobody mentioned steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair — which means unknown, not absent.
Nobody said whether the toilets are inside the restaurant or outside it.
Only one post describes the toilets: separate men's and women's, with a washbasin outside the entrance so you can wash hands before eating. The same family found staff kind to their child, recommending child-friendly dishes and providing children's tableware.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 10 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on the food split. Two visitors found it unremarkable and said they would not return; one regular goes back again and again for work lunches. One of the two who won't return had one of two bowls arrive long after the other on a crowded day.
- Only one post mentions waiting, saying even at lunchtime there is little or none. Nobody wrote about weekends or evenings; one visitor found a tour bus outside and a crowded room.
- Four visitors list hours of 11:00–21:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break. They differ on weekends: two say the break is weekdays only, one gives no days, and one, copying Naver, says no break on holidays and open every day, though closing time seemed to vary. Three of the four copied their hours from an info block.
- Prices come from posts dated June–September 2025 and January 2026. Nobody listed à-la-carte prices in 2026, so we can't confirm they still hold. On courses, one writer called the 21,000-won lunch course great value; another thought 28,000 won a head too much.
- Three posts give the phone number 064-745-8666. Nobody wrote about actually booking; the advice to reserve on weekends comes from a copied info block.
- Nobody arrived by bus. Posts only say it is near Jeju Airport and the Jeju five-day market; most visitors came by car.
- One of the ten posts is a copy of the Naver listing (menu and amenity tags) and another is written by an interior-film company that appends its own advert. Listed extras like valet parking and Wi-Fi come from the copied listing, so we didn't treat them as evidence.
