Salle is the buffet on the ground floor of the Amber Pure Hill Hotel & Resort, on 1100-ro in Nohyeong-dong, up on the lower slopes of Hallasan. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in one room, with a live station where chefs grill flat-iron steak and lamb, Japanese, Chinese and Korean stations, kaymak and Häagen-Dazs. Dinner is listed at 118,000 won per adult on weekdays and 145,000 won at weekends; lunch went up in August 2026 to 75,000 won on weekdays and 85,000 won at weekends. We read 25 posts dated 14 February to 22 October 2026; 24 of them describe actually eating here.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. People book. Fourteen posts say they reserved, and several describe arriving for the 6 pm opening and being checked in by name at the door. One post was told window tables go in order of booking.
  2. Five posts were seated by the window. One liked the view through the glass at sunset; another warned that after dark the glass only reflects the room, and that on winter evenings the window seats are draughty enough to cool your plate, so they suggest sitting further in.
  3. Eleven posts mention wine. Unlimited wine was 30,000 won per person in posts up to April 2026 and a discounted 25,000 won in September and October; unlimited draft beer stayed at 15,000 won. Two posts skipped it because they were driving.
  4. Eight posts are by repeat visitors — a sixth visit, a fifth, more than five. They say they return because the menu changes each season; one noticed the chocolate fountain from earlier visits was gone.

  1. Four posts came with children. One found a high chair and baby tableware; the kids gravitated to the pizza and chicken corner and the Häagen-Dazs. One post notes under-36-month-olds ate free.

Five posts parked and found plenty of room: outdoor lots opposite the hotel building and below the entrance to the right. Several posts put it about 25 minutes' drive from the airport.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 3 (of 23 posts read)

Nobody wrote about steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. That means we don't know, not that there are none. Three posts say it is on the ground floor.

No post says where the restaurant's toilets are or whether they are separated by sex.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions on space split: five posts found it roomy with well-spaced tables, two found it small for a buffet, and one said tables were close enough to overhear the next table.
  • Nobody describes getting here by bus. The one post that came without a car says taxis were hard to find on the way out and suggests asking the hotel to call one.
  • No one queued — everyone seems to have booked. One post found it quiet at 6 pm on a weekday and nearly full after 7; others say weekend lunches book up fast.
  • Sixteen posts give opening hours, almost all copied from listings. The common version is 07:30–21:00, dinner from 18:00 on weekdays and 17:30 at weekends, and Mondays only until 14:30 with no dinner. Four posts say dinner runs to 21:30 and one says Mondays are closed entirely, so check before going.
  • Prices look different from post to post because of rolling discounts. List price is 118,000 won for weekday dinner and 145,000 won at weekends; Naver-booking and resident 20%, birthday 30%, and seasonal 25% offers came and went month by month. Seven posts say they got a discount. A post quoting "80,000-something won" was citing a discounted price, and one post's "75,000 weekday / 85,000 weekend" matches the post-August lunch price, not dinner.
  • Ten posts give the phone number 0507-1333-3320 (one gives the hotel switchboard, 064-801-3333). Bookings are made through Naver or by phone.
  • Many September–October 2026 posts repeat the same promotional lines (a YouTuber's visit, a Netflix filming location, "top-grade ingredients hand-picked by our chefs", the new autumn lunch dishes) under the same hashtags, and one discloses sponsorship; two February posts share a template too. We treated those lines as copied material and counted only what each post says the writer actually ate and saw.
