Donjjam
돈짬 Donjjam is short for donkkaseu (pork cutlet) and jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), the house's signature bowl of jjamppong topped with a cutlet.

A 24-hour Korean-Chinese restaurant on the ground floor of a building facing the Lotte Mart car-park entrance in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City. The draw is donkkaseu jjamppong, spicy seafood noodle soup with a whole pork cutlet on top (14,000 won); plain jjamppong is 11,000, jjajangmyeon 8,000, and tangjjamjjamyeon, which puts sweet-and-sour pork, jjamppong and jjajangmyeon in one bowl, is 17,000, alongside wheat noodles, udon and cutlets. You order on a tablet at the table, a robot brings the food, and rice and side dishes come from a self-serve bar. We read 30 posts dated March 2025 to September 2026. We set aside 8 (other branches in Cheongju and at Jeju City Hall, the Korean buffet upstairs, other restaurants, or posts that never said which branch), and did not count 2 more as visits: one was takeaway eaten at home, the other was generated from listing data. The counts below come from the 20 posts that ate here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Of the 12 visit posts that covered ordering, 11 went back to the self-serve bar for more rice or sides. They list rice, udon broth, cabbage salad, pickled radish, kimchi, cubed radish kimchi, raw onion with black-bean paste, and one post found steamed kabocha. One noted extra rice is free, one sipped a bowl of udon broth while waiting for the noodles, and one refilled the radish kimchi twice.
- Of the 11 visit posts that described the room, 10 called it spacious. One liked the distance between tables because it softened noisy neighbours; another had room to park a stroller. One weekday-lunch post watched a group of uniformed students file in.
- You order from your seat: four posts used the table tablet or order pad to order and pay, and many mention the food arriving on a serving robot. One noted few staff for the size of the room.
- Five posts found the broth salty, in phrases like "very salty" and "strongly seasoned", though two said that was exactly why they ended up tipping rice into it.
2 more
- Five posts came with children. Two saw high chairs, one found separate children's tableware, one asked for the cutlet on the side for the child and got it, and several say the children loved watching the robot.
- Two posts (October 2025 and February 2026) got free fried dumplings for writing a Naver review.

Parking
5 posts say you can park; 1 say you cannot. We leave the disagreement standing rather than picking a side.

Parking mostly works. Five posts parked out front or called it easy; one said the spaces right outside are only a handful, so they usually use the Lotte Mart car park. One post from 8:40 pm in August 2025 circled for a while and ended up at Lotte Mart. The "30 minutes free at the mart" line was copied from a listing and not counted.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 2 (of 19 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Step-free access | 1 of 19 posts |
Two posts say it occupies the ground floor of a large building; the floor above is a separate Korean buffet.
No one said whether there is a step or a ramp at the door; one post simply kept a stroller inside. That means unknown, not absent.
No visit post said where the toilet is or whether it is split by gender; a toilet tick appears only in a copied listing.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 21 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Heat is contested: three posts found it hot, two did not. At level 2 one writer could barely finish it, "hotter than Shin Ramyun", while another found it "not spicy at all". One heard that level 0 is about Shin Ramyun heat.
- No post arrived by bus or on foot; three came by car and the rest only say it faces Lotte Mart. We don't know how it works by public transport.
- No post reports waiting, but most went after lunch or late at night and found it quiet. We don't know about peak mealtimes.
- Eleven visit posts give the hours as 24 hours, all copied from the listing. From February 2026 the listing adds that Sunday ends at midnight, and from May that Monday opens at 7 am, so it appears closed from Sunday midnight to Monday 7 am. No one has been during that window.
- Prices held steady from October 2025 to June 2026. The 5,900-won jjajangmyeon was a September 2026 promotion; the regular price is 8,000. One post's "about 12,000" for the cutlet jjamppong conflicts with everyone else's 14,000, so we ignored it. A meal runs 8,000 to 14,000 won for one noodle dish. One post found the prices steep and one did not.
- The phone number 064-712-5855 appears in many copied listings. No post made a reservation; "reservations available" appears only in a copied block, and the tip about phoning ahead for takeaway came from a takeaway post we did not count.
- Some posts are templated. One says it was written from Naver listing data and pastes the review count; two others use "three key features" and "pro tips" templates. We did not count the first as a visit, and from the others counted only the post with a real account of eating there.
