Syabeureu Jeongwon Jeju-jeom

샤브르정원 제주점 Shabure is a coined play on shabu-shabu and jeongwon means garden — several posts describe the green, plant-filled interior.

The Jeju branch of a shabu-shabu buffet chain, on the ground floor at 381 Jungang-ro in Ido-dong, Jeju City. Staff bring cypress-steamed beef and a split pot of vegetable and spicy jjamppong broth; you fetch the brisket and chuck, vegetables, rice-paper wrap fillings, a hot bar of fried food, pasta and tteokbokki, plus waffles and ice cream yourself. Weekday lunch is ₩19,900; weekday dinner, weekends and holidays ₩25,900. When it opened in April 2025 the weekday lunch was listed at ₩22,900 and discounted to ₩19,900. An August 2026 post relays that it closes for interior work and reopens after September 2026. We read 23 posts from 2 April 2025 to 1 August 2026; 21 describe an actual visit, and 18 cluster in April–May 2025, right after opening.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Seatings run 100 minutes. Nine posts mention the limit; one says going over costs ₩2,000 per person per extra 30 minutes. An August 2026 visitor ate flat out through to ice cream and was done in 1 hour 20 minutes.
  2. There is a children's play room, mentioned by twelve posts, on the way to the restrooms so parents can keep an eye on it. It is sparse: two posts note no arcade or game machines, an April 2025 post says there was little inside yet, another mentions a few dolls and books. Two posts saw high chairs.
  3. Two posts waited and three walked straight in. One arrived after noon and waited 30 minutes; another met a dinner queue and afterwards joined remotely through CatchTable. Three weekday-lunch visitors were seated at once. Seven posts mention waiting seats at the entrance.
  4. Seven posts call the staff friendly: first-timers are shown which bowl is for hot-pot vegetables and which for wrap fillings, and servers offer steamed-beef refills unprompted. One post differs: the writer stayed away after rude service on an earlier visit, then returned in June 2026 and found staff trying hard despite the crowd.

Parking

12 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park12 of 21 posts

Parking is in a lot behind the building. Of the thirteen posts that cover parking, twelve say you can park there and seven call the lot large. Two lunchtime visitors found it full — one got the last space — and both point to a public lot nearby.

Getting inside

Toilet inside4 of 21 posts
Separate restrooms1 of 21 posts

We don't know whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. Two posts describe climbing stairs from the rear parking lot to the restaurant; nobody says whether the street-side entrance has a step. One post notes it occupies the ground floor of a standalone building.

Four posts place the restrooms inside, past the play room; one saw separate men's and women's rooms. Nobody mentions an accessible restroom.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 23 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Read prices by date. The ₩19,900 weekday lunch in April–May 2025 posts was an opening discount off ₩22,900, noted by seven posts; from December 2025 posts simply list ₩19,900. No one called it expensive, and seven posts said it was good value.
  • Only one post covers public transport, saying there is a bus stop right in front. Most others drove, and nobody names the stop or routes.
  • Eighteen posts give opening hours, all copied from a listing. Every one says 11:00–22:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break; four say the break is weekdays only. Last order was 20:20 in April–May 2025 posts and 20:10 from December 2025. No closing day is listed. We don't know the hours after the September 2026 renovation.
  • Fourteen posts give the phone number 0507-1470-7868, but one lists 0507-1458-2781 and another 064-755-7773. Bookings are made through CatchTable; one April 2025 post relays that weekday dinners can be booked but weekend dinners cannot.
  • Promotional posts are mixed in. Three disclose payment, and three posts with look-alike titles from 19–20 May 2025 appear to be one campaign. One April 2025 post describes Jeju black pork or hanwoo, individual burners and an outdoor terrace — contradicting every other post — so we did not count it. Claims about a top hygiene grade and TV appearances are the restaurant's own promotion, relayed rather than observed.
  • Five posts went with friends, three with a partner, two with family. None went alone — not that solo diners are turned away, just that nobody wrote about it.
