The lunch set is mentioned most: 250 g of ribs with noodles or soybean stew, 15,000 won in posts from November 2025 on and 13,000 won in a March 2025 post. We read 18 posts from February 2025 to October 2026; 17 describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Side dishes are topped up from a self-serve bar; eight posts mention it or a refill. Posts list shredded scallion, ssamjang, sauces and raw onion on the bar. One notes the marinated crab is not there and has to be requested; another says staff refilled the black-sesame salad with extra dressing.
  2. Ordering is by a tablet at each table, noted in five posts; one adds there is a call button for staff.
  3. Six posts call the room large; one group of thirteen ate there without booking and found the tables well spaced. Four posts describe an extractor hood right over each grill, and two of them like that it is not a duct hanging from the ceiling, which makes talking across the table easier.
  4. Four posts call it cheap or good value. One likes the lunch set but suggests coming at lunch, since dinner prices may feel steep.

  1. Three posts say the portions are generous; one found them a little smaller than at the old-school rib house the writer usually goes to.

Where it is

Map showing where Bokdeongi Sutbul Galbi Hwabuk-jeom is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post describes the floor or any stairs from experience; only the address says ground floor.

Nobody says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. Three posts note high chairs.

No post says where the toilet is or whether it is separated by sex; one writer says outright they did not use it.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 16 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Prices have changed. Comparing the February 2025 and May 2026 menus, beef rib soup went from 12,000 to 15,000 won and marinated beef ribs from 34,000 to 36,000. The lunch set rose from 13,000 to 15,000, while soju and beer dropped from 5,000 to 4,000. Plain pork belly, liver and tripe, and seolleongtang stop appearing in posts from December 2025.
  • Seven posts give hours of 11:00-22:00, six of them with last orders at 21:00, though nearly all of this is copied listing information. One post alone says it closes on Thursdays, but it also gives a different phone number and may describe another branch.
  • Four posts list the phone as 064-757-5755; one gives 074-732-6900. No one says whether the place takes reservations.
  • No post mentions waiting for a table. That does not mean there is never a wait, only that nobody wrote about one. One post notes waiting seats at the entrance and another says it was busy even at lunch. One post complains the meat came out slowly.
  • No post mentions arriving by bus. One writer walked from home; the others give the location only as across from the New World Mart in Hwabuk.
