A hairtail (galchi) restaurant at 255-18 Yerae-ro in Seogwipo, a short walk from Nonjitmul beach. The signature is a boneless braise of rolled hairtail, but the most ordered dish is the set that adds a whole grilled fish — nine of the fourteen visits we counted had it. Posts give 38,000 won for the two-person braise and 75,000 (two) or 135,000 (four) for the set; rice comes in individual stone pots, and several posts describe pouring water into the pot afterwards to make scorched-rice tea. Staff debone the grilled fish at the table. We read 30 posts dated 3 to 28 October 2026: ten were about other restaurants, and six were multi-restaurant lists or the owner's own promotional posts, so we did not count them as visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The dining room is big with wide gaps between tables — ten posts say so; three mention large windows and daylight, three call it clean. Two saw a serving robot moving between tables.
- It is set up for families: four posts saw high chairs, and one found disposable aprons at hand. But one family wrote that the braise was a little too spicy for their children.
- Celebrity autographs and Blue Ribbon stickers cover the entrance and walls; eight posts mention the signatures.
- Four posts found the fritters (hairtail, pumpkin, sweet potato) crisp and two said the food was not salty. Four called the braise spicy — one likened it to tteokbokki sauce with extra chili.
1 more
- Waits vary: two posts walked straight in, one found a small crowd at the door but skipped it with a reservation. Two posts booked ahead, and one noticed a separate waiting area inside.

Parking
9 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking is easy: nine visit posts say the lot is large, one noting a lot in front of the building plus an open lot across from it. The '40 cars, free' figure comes from the restaurant's own blog, so we don't rely on it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post describes the floor from experience. The '1st floor' in the address is copied, and one post only mentions a mural on the way up to the entrance.
Nobody wrote about steps at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. One post pasted the listing's 'wheelchair-accessible entrance' line, which we don't count — that means nobody reported it, not that access is poor.
No post says from experience whether the toilet is inside or split by sex. One shows a photo of a cute toilet door; another's 'separate men's and women's toilets' is pasted from the listing.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- It isn't cheap: one post called the prices brutal, another put the real cost at about 40,000 won a head but felt it was worth it. All prices are from September–October 2026 posts.
- Ten visit posts give the same hours: daily 10:00–20:50. Six give last order as 19:50, one as 19:30. Most of these are copied into the post header, so check before going. A list post claiming 08:00–21:00 with a 15:00–16:00 break doesn't match the visits and was not counted.
- Nine posts give the phone number as 0507-1321-1741; one list post gives 064-738-1741. One diner booked through Catch Table. The restaurant's blog warns that another restaurant shares the name, so check for the Seogwipo main branch in your navigation app.
- No post arrived by bus or other public transport; they only say it is about five minutes' drive from the Jungmun resort area.
- Several posts repeat that small dogs are allowed in a closed carrier, but all of them are relaying the door notice or the restaurant's own claim; none actually brought a dog.
- Four of the visit posts share the same 'Nonjitmul restaurant' phrasing, structure and hashtags and look like one batch of commissioned reviews; only one of them discloses payment. Two posts from the owner's own blog were not counted.
