Sanghui Sikdang
상희식당 Sikdang simply means 'eatery'; Sanghui reads as a personal name, but no post says whose.

A Korean home-style buffet on the Iljuseo-ro coastal road in Hallim, western Jeju. You pay at the door — 11,000 won for adults, 7,000 for elementary-school children, 4,000 for ages three to school age — then fill your plate while a stone pot of rice is cooked for each person, finished as scorched-rice tea. There is a fry-your-own-egg station, toast and cup noodles, and 21 posts mention taking an ice cream on the way out. It serves lunch only, 11:00 to 15:00. We read 30 posts from 14 November 2025 to 21 October 2026; 24 of them record an actual meal.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Sixteen of the 18 posts that discuss price call it cheap; a family of four with two preschoolers paid 30,000 won in all. Not everyone is as generous about the food: one post rated the side dishes at 'cafeteria or school-lunch level' but praised the pot rice.
- Ten posts came with children. Three saw high chairs for themselves (one counted five), and fried eggs, fried rice and toast keep coming up as the children's meal. A parent with a two-year-old found the noisy hall forgiving but advises leaving the stroller in the car because the aisles are tight.
- Six posts mention friendly service: the owner pointing out non-spicy dishes for children, high chairs brought on request, and the woman handing out the pot rice at the counter.
- Of five posts that comment on seasoning, four found it not salty; one found it salty overall.

Parking
12 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking is rarely a worry. Of 15 posts that touch on it, 12 parked themselves and describe a large lot (the other three just copy listing info). One warns that after 11:30 locals and rental cars fill it fast, and another nearly hit a car pulling out at the entrance.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside

No post describes which floor the restaurant is on. The registered address says second floor while every post copies 'first floor', and nobody mentions stairs or a lift.
Only one post describes getting in: the door sill is low, but the aisles are too narrow to park a stroller by the table. Nobody wrote about a wheelchair — that means no one reported it, not that it is impossible.
One post places the toilet near the counter inside. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing info, which we did not count.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts disagree on space: four call it roomy, two say it is small or cramped, and one says it is big but the tables are packed so closely you might have to share.
- No one arrived by bus or on foot; four posts mention driving, and nobody describes a public-transport route.
- No post reports waiting for a table — which means no one wrote about it, not that there is never a wait. One found it packed at 11:30 on a weekday, another half full; one went at 2 p.m. and found it quiet. The '250 pots a day' limit is the house's notice, not something we counted.
- Twelve posts give the same opening hours, 11:00 to 15:00, though almost all copy listing info. Three say there is no closing day; nobody gives a break time or last entry.
- The adult price stays at 11,000 won from November 2025 to October 2026. Two posts say drinks are cheap but none gives a figure. The 5,000-won charge for leftover food, said to go to children in need, is the house's own notice as quoted.
- Seven posts list the phone number 064-796-3336. None says whether reservations are taken.
