Jeju Halmang Bapsang Hallim Hyeopjae-jeom
제주할망밥상 한림협재점 Halmang is Jeju dialect for grandmother and bapsang is a table laid for a meal, so the name reads 'Jeju grandma's table'; Hallim-Hyeopjae is the branch's location.

A grilled-fish and braised-hairtail set-meal house on the coastal road by Hallim Port, Jeju. The grilled-fish set ('Geunal Jeongsik') and boneless hairtail braise are 18,000 won a head, rockfish braise 20,000, and both braises need two servings. Whatever you order arrives with stir-fried pork, japchae, a savoury pancake, seaweed soup and more, and rice, soup and sides are topped up from a self-serve bar. It opens at 8 a.m., and several posts went for breakfast. We read 19 posts from 29 August to 27 October 2026; 13 of them record actually eating there. One says the place opened in June 2026.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Six posts describe going back for more rice, soup and sides from the self-serve bar, the pancake included. Even a braise order comes with stir-fried pork and lettuce wraps, which one writer found startling for the price.
- Four posts say a receipt review earns a glass of fresh cheonhyehyang citrus juice, and the offer appears from August through October 2026.

Parking
8 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 8 of 13 posts |

Of ten posts that mention parking, eight saw a large lot in front, with more space across the road; the other two just note that a lot exists. The '50 cars' figure is copied from the shop's own listing, so we don't lean on it. Two posts say they came by car.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | 1 of 13 posts |
|---|---|
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 13 posts |
No post describes which floor it is on from experience; the address says ground floor, but nobody wrote about it.
Nobody wrote about steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means unknown, not absent.
Only one post (August 2026) says the toilets are inside and split by gender; another says you reach them past a storeroom-like space and that there are several stalls.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts split on how spicy the hairtail braise is: four call it hot and punchy, one says it looks fiery but tastes clean and mild. Separately, one post found it merely so-so and another tasted a lot of seasoning powder.
- Portion size splits three to three. Three posts found the grilled-fish set huge; three found the braise just enough or a bit thin, or the fish small. The 'big' side mostly ate the grilled fish, the 'small' side mostly the braise.
- No post describes arriving by bus. The 'three minutes' walk from Hallim Port' line is copied from the shop's listing; the posts that mention arriving came by rental car.
- No post mentions queuing. One saw a busy lunch room, one says the food came quickly, one says about ten minutes after ordering. That is silence, not proof of no wait.
- Opening hours: all nine posts that visited give 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; six add a 4-5 p.m. break and four an 8 p.m. last order. Most are copied info blocks, and none mentions a closing day. One post pasted a neighbouring restaurant's hours under this one, so we left it out.
- Eight posts give the phone number 0507-1420-7030; 064-796-7030 appears only in one post copied from another blog. Group booking is mentioned only by the shop's own blog and copied info blocks — no post says it booked ahead.
- We set aside 6 of the 19 posts: three are the restaurant's own blog, two are golf-trip pieces repeating the shop's phrasing in the same order (18,000 won, ten side dishes, free rice and soup, the same distance blurb), and one is a top-ten list. Among the 13 counted visits, one discloses a complimentary meal.
