Hyeopjae Sin Guksu is a pork-noodle shop at Myeongjae-ro 17 in Hallim, a short way from Hyeopjae Beach. Pork noodle soup is 10,000 won, and a set for two with pork noodles, vegetable spicy noodles and dombe pork is 34,000 won. You order on a tablet at the table and park in the yard out front. A spicy hangover version (12,000 won) was added in summer 2026. We read 30 posts dated June 28 to October 15, 2026; two were about other places and were set aside. All 28 remaining posts describe a visit, and every one of them had the pork noodle soup. One of them describes a visit from June 2024, posted in 2026.

Rows without a count: 7 of 13 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The shop keeps animals in the yard and dining room. Nine posts mention its dog or cats (one says the dog wagged its tail and never barked), and one says cats and chickens are kept together in the yard. Another post that saw a chicken wasn't sure it belonged to the shop.
- Only one post describes a queue. Five say they walked straight in or found it quiet, two of them around 11 a.m. One August post says a long line formed shortly after they got in.
- The spicy dish is the hangover noodle soup. Six of the seven posts that call something hot are talking about it, and two compare it to Buldak fire noodles. Three posts say the spicy noodles are milder than their red color suggests; one found the vegetable version hotter than expected.
- Nine posts say the pork has no gamey smell, and none say it does. Six also say the broth isn't greasy.
2 more
- Nine posts call the portions large; one couldn't finish the pork noodles, and one says the adult bulgogi bowl holds two bowls of rice. Seven posts describe the pork as thickly cut.
- Ordering and payment are done on a tablet at each table, according to six posts. A June 2024 post saw a sign asking for one dish per person, and a July 2026 post also mentions the one-dish-per-person rule.

Parking
11 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

You park in the yard in front of the shop. Eleven posts say they parked there; the two that estimated its size said about five cars and four to five cars. A post describing photos from June 2024 mentions cars and a tour bus on the gravel yard.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 28 posts read) |
|---|
The shop is on the ground floor; one post describing June 2024 photos mentions the shop name on a ground-floor glass door. No other post mentions floors.
We don't know whether there's a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That doesn't mean there's a problem — none of the 28 posts mentions it.
We don't know whether the restroom is inside. Separate men's and women's restrooms appear only in two posts copying map listings; no one describes using them.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Posts disagree on seasoning: three found the broth bland (one added salt and pepper), one found it slightly salty. Several mention a notice saying you can ask for more broth if it's too salty.
- Several posts repeat the shop's notice that noodles are boiled to order and take about ten minutes. Two say food actually came slowly; one blames a holiday rush with the owner working alone.
- We don't know how to get there by bus. Every post that describes the trip came by car, putting it two to three minutes' drive or about ten minutes' walk from Hyeopjae Beach. None mentions taking a bus.
- Seven posts give the same hours, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday to Sunday (last order 30 minutes before close), but all of them copied it from map listings. Four give 9 to 6 with no days, one says open every day 9 to 6:30, and one says it opens at 10. A June 2024 post saw a door notice saying it closed at 5 p.m. and was shut on Mondays, so the hours appear to have changed since.
- Prices match across the 2026 posts, except the small dombe pork: one October 2026 post says 18,000 won, three say 19,000. Three posts call the prices reasonable. The post describing the June 2024 menu gives no prices, so we can't compare with then.
- Eight posts list the phone number as 0507-1353-2500; one gives a different number (0507-1415-0158). Reservations appear only in one copied map listing, and no post says it booked ahead.
