A haejangguk (hangover soup) shop in a lane just behind Hyeopjae Beach on Jeju's west coast, open from 8 a.m. Abalone soft-tofu stew topped with two abalone and a clear sea-snail soup each cost 13,000 won, Jeju black-pork bulgogi on the side 12,000 won; you order from a tablet at the table. We read 5 posts dated 25 September to 24 October 2026; one was really about the nearby Starbucks, so the counts come from the 4 actual visits. All four ordered the abalone stew.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The first round of side dishes comes to the table; after that you help yourself at a self-serve bar, as three posts described. All four visitors mentioned the dongchimi (radish water kimchi) among the sides, and one wrote that her mother went back for it twice. One post noticed disposable aprons by the bar.
- It reads as child-friendly: two posts saw high chairs, two noted a 6,000-won children's haejangguk on the menu, and one said many of the other diners were families with kids.
- Three posts said each table has a tablet for ordering. One solo diner wrote that eating alone drew no awkward looks at all.

Three posts said parking was easy, but they describe different spots: one in front of the shop, one a free public lot nearby plus roadside, one an open lot in the area. Nobody said how many cars the shop itself can take.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | 1 of 4 posts |
|---|
The address says ground floor, but no visitor described the floor or the way in.
We don't know whether there's a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in — not that there's a problem, just that nobody wrote about it.
Only one post said the toilet is inside the shop; nobody mentioned whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Posts split on size, one to one: one called the room spacious, another said it isn't big but is comfortable. One post described four-seat tables from the back of the room to beside the counter.
- Nobody described getting there by bus. One post put it a three-minute walk from Hyeopjae Beach; those who said how they came drove.
- No post mentioned waiting or walking straight in, so we can't say how busy it gets.
- Opening hours agree across all four visits — 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., closed Mondays, with a 2–5 p.m. break in three — but all four copied the listed hours rather than testing them.
- Prices are consistent: 13,000 won for the soups, 12,000 for the bulgogi. One family of three paid 51,000 won for three soups and a bulgogi and called it cheap. Nobody gave the price of extra rice.
- The phone number 0507-1309-0876 appears in two posts, copied from the shop listing, as does a note that bookings are taken; nobody actually reserved by phone.
