A Jeju home-style soup kitchen a short way up an alley from Woljeong-ri beach in Gujwa-eup, open from 8 a.m. Bracken yukgaejang, momguk and jeopjjak pork-bone soup are 12,000 won, grilled mackerel 15,000 won, and one post notes rice is extra. Many writers came for breakfast, often while walking Olle route 20 or nursing a hangover. We read 30 posts dated May to October 2026; 8 were about other places, leaving 20 that describe a visit (the visits themselves go back to October 2025).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Six posts say you can see Woljeong beach from the window seats; one adds that the windows are wide enough to see the sea from inside, but the window side is better. One post disagreed, saying it is not a place with an open ocean view right outside.
- Five posts say there was no off smell: the pork-bone soup had no gaminess, the meat was tender and clean-smelling, and the chilled pork had no porky odour.
- Four posts found the portions generous. Two were surprised by the size of the mackerel (one solo diner called soup plus fish 'like two portions'), and one noted a hearty bowl of rice.
- Eight posts call it clean and tidy. The details they point to: Jeju stones displayed one by one on wall shelves, food served in ceramic bowls rather than steel, and a neat wood-toned interior.
3 more
- Five posts mention friendly service; one solo diner was welcomed warmly, and another says the owner explained each dish.
- No post reports waiting. Two say they walked straight in (one at 12:30 on a weekend), though that writer adds it filled up right after. One found every table but one taken around noon; another found a single party at about 10 a.m.
- One post says you order at a kiosk; the same post mentions a receipt-review event that earns a drink, and another post says they got a refill of the perilla-leaf side dish.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
1 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No post says what floor the restaurant is on or whether there are stairs; the '1st floor' in the address is the registered listing. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there are none.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. One post came with a 31-month-old, and two mention high chairs.
Nobody wrote about where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 21 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Accounts of the size differ. The two posts calling it spacious are the same writer describing the same visit; another post says it is not a big restaurant.
- One post came by bus, getting off near Woljeong beach and walking over. A list of nearby stops in another post was copied, so we did not count it. Three posts arrived on foot while walking Olle route 20.
- Eight posts list hours: seven say 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last order 3:30), one says until 3 p.m. Six give Tuesday as the day off, mostly copied, while one says open every day, and another seems to have eaten lunch there on a Tuesday. We could not settle the closing day.
- Two posts from September and October 2026 agree on prices (12,000 won for the soups, 15,000 for mackerel). No post gives the price of the cold squid soup, and one notes rice costs extra.
- Five posts copy the same phone number, 0507-1469-8252, from an info block. One says reservations are by DM or phone inquiry, but that is copied too; nobody wrote about actually booking.
