La Stube is the tasting-menu restaurant on the L (ground) level of the restaurant building at the entrance of The Siena Resort in Gangjeong-dong, Seogwipo. The most recent visit, in late September 2026, reports hearing that the Western course had become a live BBQ served only Friday to Sunday. Before that, 17 diners ate a six-to-eight-plate course from amuse-bouche to dessert, choosing Korean beef tenderloin or Jeju tilefish for the main. The price was written the same throughout 2025 and 2026: 195,000 won per adult, 100,000 per child, and many ate it as part of a resort package. We read 30 posts from April 2025 to October 2026; 10 were about the resort's other restaurants (Il Campo, Ca' Bosco) or the rooms and were set aside, leaving 20 visits here.

What sets it apart
- Eleven posts say the staff were kind, with specifics: water glasses topped up throughout, a tomato soup made for a mother who can't take dairy, a fish dish substituted when a guest said in advance she couldn't eat lamb. One of the eleven adds that the service, while friendly, lacked professional polish.
- Ten posts say they booked ahead. Several note that the resort's restaurants take phone bookings for a time slot at least three days out; one says seats come in an early and a late sitting, and the same post felt the late sitting's food had been cooked earlier and arrived cold.
- Six posts remark on the height of the room: chandeliers hanging from a tall ceiling, room enough for tall plants, and a private-room door built to match.
- Four posts (one of them at breakfast) sat at tables looking out on the pool; one notes that seats on the other side face an artificial waterfall.

No one wrote about steps at the entrance or about getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means unrecorded, not absent. One post only notes that the L level sits half a flight of stairs above the GL level.

What we do not know
- The switch to BBQ rests on a single post from 29 September 2026, which describes the chef grilling pork tomahawk, lamb and tenderloin at the table with refills on everything. An October resort guide still lists the course, but it is copied from a booking site. Check before going whether it is the course or the BBQ, and which days it opens.
- Opening hours were written differently over time: five 2025 posts give 17:30–22:00, four 2026 posts give 18:00–21:30 with last order at 20:00, and one post each from November 2025 and April 2026 give 18:00–22:00. Most of these are copied information blocks.
- Almost every post gives the same price, 195,000 won per adult and 100,000 per child; the 10% discount for hotel guests who book ahead is copied, not observed. Four posts say it wasn't worth the price, one adding that they wouldn't pay for it themselves again.
- Portions divide opinion: two posts found the meat or octopus servings small, one said the full course left them quite full.
- One post from an April 2025 stay ate an 85,000-won brunch buffet here, but wrote in November that only dinner is served now. Three posts ate breakfast here; one was sent over because Il Campo was crowded.
- Three posts mention a dress code barring sleeveless tops, sandals and slippers; this is copied from the restaurant's notice.
- None of the 20 visits describe getting here by bus; all of them were staying at the resort and walked over.
