Delmoondo Roasters

델문도로스터스 Delmundo Roseuteoseu Del mundo is Spanish for 'of the world' (one blog reads it as 'somewhere in the world we live in'); this is the Delmoondo brand's roastery, where the beans are roasted on site.

Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →

Delmoondo Roasters is a roastery cafe at 316 Yeonsam-ro in Jeju City, across from the government complex. Beans are roasted on the ground floor, where coffee and bread are sold; the second floor is a free gallery with seating whose exhibition changes monthly. It shares a name with the famous beachfront Delmoondo in Hamdeok but is a different shop. In posts from February 2026 an americano costs 2,500 won to go and 3,000 won to stay; up to December 2025 it was 2,000 and 2,500 won. You order at a kiosk or the counter and choose between a nutty and an acidic bean. We read 30 posts from December 11, 2024 to October 19, 2026; 5 were about other places and set aside, and 24 were written by people who went.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Of 16 posts that discuss price, 15 call it cheap and none call it expensive. Several compare it with the Hamdeok branch, saying the menu is similar but cheaper here.
  2. Two posts say takeaway is 500 won cheaper. One adds that disposable cups are not allowed even on the terrace.
  3. Seven posts call it quiet. Many visitors came to write, work on a laptop or hold a writing group; one noticed customers studying or working quietly. Several say the second floor is quieter than the first.
  4. Nine posts say the place is large, mentioning wide spacing between seats, tables of different sizes and a bar counter along the window.

Getting inside

Second floor12 of 23 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 6 (of 23 posts read)
Toilet inside1 of 23 posts

Twelve posts mention the second floor: a free gallery with a new artist each month, with seating alongside, and a terrace according to some. The gallery opens at 10 a.m.; 2025 posts say it closed at 5 p.m., posts from March 2026 say 6 p.m.

No one says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in; that means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none. One post walked up stairs from the basement garage, the second floor is reached by stairs, and no one mentions a lift.

Only one post says the restroom is inside, near the back door. Separate men's and women's restrooms appear only in a copied info block, which we did not count.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Prices have gone up. Up to December 2025 posts give an americano at 2,000 won to go and 2,500 won to stay and a latte at 3,500 won; from February 2026 it is 2,500 and 3,000 won, and 4,000 won for a latte. One post from February 21, 2026 quotes the old price in its text but the new one in its menu photo. No one totals a visit; you can only estimate coffee plus bread from menu prices.
  • A March 2026 post says the mugwort latte has been dropped; it was still on a menu list in August 2025.
  • One post went by bus. Another lists bus routes and the government complex stop, but as copied directions, which we did not count.
  • No one says they had to queue; that means nobody wrote about it, not that there is never a line. Some say it gets very busy at lunchtime, and one found it calm early in the morning.
  • Company varies: two posts went with family, and a handful each went in a group, as a couple, with a friend or alone.
  • Eleven posts give the same opening hours, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily with last orders at 8:30 p.m., but most of them copy an info block. No one mentions a closing day.
  • Several posts copy the phone number 064-755-0006. No one writes from experience about booking by phone; 'takeout and reservations OK' appears only in a copied info block.
  • Two posts don't match the rest. One gives americano prices of 4,100 to 4,600 won and hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; the other describes a warm wood interior where everyone else describes bare concrete and a factory feel. We did not use the first and counted only the price remark from the second.
