Keuraun Dwaeji
크라운돼지 Keuraun is the English word 'crown' written in Korean and dwaeji means pig — a pork house.

A pork grill house in the hills above Aewol, Jeju, inside chef Song Hoon's 'Song Hoon Park' compound, next door to the Aewol Jeju Bakery. The focus is Nanchuk-matdon, a breed developed from native Jeju black pigs; the most-ordered dish is Set A for two — 560 g of belly, neck and jjoldegi cut for 69,000 won. The meat arrives pre-seared and smoked in a wooden box, and staff finish it on the table grill. Many diners close with the fried rice (8,000 won), a doenjang rice stew (9,000) or kimchi stew (10,000). We read 30 posts from 21 August to 26 October 2026; 23 record an actual meal, three were about the bakery and set aside, four only introduced the place.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Staff do the grilling. Sixteen of the 23 visit posts say a server grilled the meat at the table, and 14 say it arrived pre-seared and smoked in a box, often with an explanation of each cut. One post adds that meat ordered as a top-up had to be grilled yourself; no other post addressed top-ups.
- Hardly anyone waited. Nine posts walked straight in — weekday lunch, a 7:30 pm weekday dinner, an early evening — and one waited about ten minutes. One post booked ahead on Catchtable; two mention a Tabling waitlist at the door.
- Six posts came with children, from a baby still on purées to a 29-month-old. Several say having the meat grilled for them freed their hands for the child; one says her toddler ate better here than at any other grill house. Three saw high chairs. One wished there were more side dishes a child could eat than white kimchi.
- Juiciness is the most-repeated remark about the meat, in 12 posts. One dissenting post found it good but not special and the jjoldegi cut a little dry. Claims such as 'top 0.1%' and certification plaques are the shop's own and we did not count them.

This is a drive-to place. Ten posts mention parking, nine calling the lot large. Three say it is impractical without a car — one calls a car essential, one says neither designated drivers nor taxis seemed likely to reach the woods, one says public transport is not an option. Eight posts drove; two called a designated driver so they could drink.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
No post says which floor the dining room is on or whether there are stairs; the address reads '1st floor, unit 8', but nobody described it.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means we don't know, not that it's a problem.
No visitor described the toilets; one post's info box lists separate men's and women's toilets, but that was copied, so we did not count it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Fourteen posts give the same hours — 11:00 to 21:00, last order 20:00 — though mostly copied from listings. Nobody mentioned a mid-afternoon break; one listing says open every day.
- A meal runs to the 69,000-won set for two plus an 8,000–10,000-won rice or stew. Only one post commented on cost, saying it wasn't much of a burden; none called it expensive. One post says the Jeju local currency card was not accepted.
- Seven posts list the phone number 064-805-5091; one also gives 070-4036-5090. One post booked through Catchtable.
- One post (August 2026) discloses a writing fee. We saw no batch of templated sponsored posts.
