A mulhoe (chilled raw-seafood soup) house in a hanok-style building on the coastal road at 6113 Iljuseo-ro, Aewol, between Gwakji Beach and the Handam coastal walk — the Jeju branch of Sokcho's Cheongchosu Mulhoe. The core is mulhoe in a slushy beef-bone broth: 19,000 won basic, 20,000 won squid, 27,000 won (one) or 48,000 won (two) for the signature haejeon. Each comes with somen and a little rice, and a card on the table tells you to eat the seafood first, then the noodles, then rice and laver. We read 30 posts from 28 Aug to 22 Oct 2026; two were about other restaurants, 23 describe a visit and five only introduce the place.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The windows are the point. Thirteen of the 23 visit posts mention floor-to-ceiling glass facing the sea — 'each window is like a picture frame'. Several say window seats go first-come, so arrive early; two recommend sunset.
- The side people order is the fried stuffed squid: nine visit posts had it and seven call it crisp. Two say only the Jeju branch fries it; one warns the crunch fades fast as it cools.
- Six posts mention the entrance wall plastered with celebrity autographs; one says actor Jung Hae-in's was the largest.

Parking
9 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking is easy by most accounts: nine visit posts say they parked right in the front yard lot, and none had trouble. The often-repeated '12 cars, overflow lot nearby' figure is copied from the listing, not something we counted.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
The registered address lists a basement and ground floor, but no post says which floor they ate on or whether there are stairs. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is no basement.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in, even though several came with babies.
Nobody says whether the restroom is inside or separated by sex; one post only says it was nice.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-10-22 | 3 posts in one day |

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- On waiting it's one against one: one post queued via the CatchTable app and used a separate waiting area out front; another went late and didn't wait. A third found the place busy right at the 10:30 opening but didn't say they queued.
- Price splits two to two: two posts found it steep for mulhoe, two found it fair given the rice and noodles included. Three receipts for three dishes came to 79,000, 79,000 and 82,000 won.
- No one reported arriving by bus; the airport bus directions (102 then 202 to Gwakji Mouumul) appear only in promotional copy. One family walked from the neighbouring campsite; four posts say they drove.
- Of the 11 visit posts giving opening hours, ten say 10:30–20:30 and one says 10:00–20:30; seven give last order at 19:50, one of them read off the menu board. The rest are copied listing blocks. No post mentions a closing day; one says there is no afternoon break.
- The phone number 0507-1403-9328 comes from map and listing blocks; no one wrote about actually phoning to book, and 'reservations accepted' is copied from the listing.
- Nine posts are templated promotional copy ('not the SNS-famous places — a real local spot'), clustered on 5–6 Sep and 21–22 Oct 2026; one of them actually describes a different restaurant and was discarded. Only the three that describe eating count as visits. One promo calls the squid delivered fresh daily; a paying diner noted it was frozen.
