Yangil Sikdang
양일식당 Sikdang simply means 'eatery'; none of the posts explain the name Yangil.

An old shop in the lane facing Jungang Culture Park in Uijeongbu, next to Taeyoung Plaza, serving just two things: budae-jjigae and budae-bokkeum. The stew is 11,000 won a portion with rice included, and you can order it solo. It boils at your table, and the owner or staff come back to season it. We read 19 posts from November 2025 to October 2026; only 6 record an actual meal there — the rest are multi-restaurant roundups or posts about other shops.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- They season it for you at the table. Five visitors describe the same routine: staff pour in the stock, return once it boils to add chili flakes, minced garlic and pepper, and drop in the noodles themselves. One says it's done casually, without measuring; another asked for extra pepper and got it.
- Small-looking, but it runs deep. Five visitors mention seating: two say tables range from four-tops to group tables, one found more tables past the refrigerator, and one describes small floor-seating rooms further in where you take your shoes off.
- Both visitors who commented on price called it good value — 11,000 won with rice included. A June 2026 roundup copied 10,000 won, but its date is unclear, so we don't treat that as a price rise.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

No visitor says which floor it's on; the 'ground floor' in the address is registry data, not something anyone reported.
No one says whether there's a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits. That means we don't know, not that it's fine. The back rooms are floor seating with shoes off.
Two visitors say the toilet is inside the restaurant; one notes it is an old-style unisex toilet that may be a little inconvenient.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 16 posts we gathered, 11 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No visitor mentions waiting for a table — which means no one wrote about it, not that there's never a wait.
- Only two visitors say who they went with — one with friends, one in a group of four. Solo dining is allowed, but one visitor saw 'no drinking alone' signs at the door and beside the menu.
- Opening hours conflict. All five agree it's closed Mondays, but three give 10:00–22:00 and two give 11:00–21:00, with no pattern by date. All of these are copied info blocks.
- Several posts list the same phone number, 031-846-5060, but none say whether you can book. Prices are as of July–August 2026 and may have changed.
