Uri Gopchang's Moran branch is a Korean-beef offal grill two or three minutes' walk from exit 7 at Moran station — not in the drinking alley but across the road on the market side. The menu has four lines: beef small intestine, beef abomasum, a soybean-paste stew with brisket and intestine in it, and fried rice. No mixed platter, no large intestine, and the intestine starts at two portions. It is part-grilled in the kitchen, carried out on a stone pan, and a member of staff comes over to cut it up and tell you what to eat first and what needs longer. Raw liver and omasum arrive free, and ordering intestine gets you a heap of heart in the middle of the pan. Two in the afternoon until ten at night, closed Sundays. When the day's meat runs out they close early. The original shop is in Gwangju, Gyeonggi; this one is company-run. The posts we read run from October 2024 to September 2026.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart
- An unusual amount arrives without being charged for, and all twenty-six writers talk about it. Raw liver and omasum come out with your order; the recurring line is that few grill houses give you raw liver at all, and that it means the animal was slaughtered that day. Order the intestine and a pile of heart comes in the middle of the pan, with pumpkin, potato, oyster mushroom, onion and rice cake round the rim — three writers compare this to places that charge for vegetables. One added a single portion of abomasum and got another free heap of heart with it. That said, close to half the people who mention the raw liver and omasum do not eat them: some ask for them to be taken away, some eat only the omasum, some put the liver on the grill first.
- There is almost nothing left for you to grill. The order is part-cooked in the kitchen, brought out on the stone pan, and cut up at your table with scissors. What sets the place apart is what comes next: they tell you the order to eat in. The intestine is already done, eat it first; the heart goes tough if you leave it, take it when the colour turns; the abomasum wants much longer. Four writers recorded staff shifting the heart up onto the potatoes so it would stop cooking, and one copied the trick for the rest of the meal. The spring-onion kimchi gets laid along the rim where it will not burn. There is a printed card on the wall setting all of this out.
- All twenty-six say the same thing — the intestines are packed with gop and there is no offal funk. The wordings are too different to be copy: one watched it burst under the scissors, one burned the roof of her mouth when it spilled, one declares she does not count a hollow intestine as an intestine at all, one says her camera lost focus on it. Two writers who had avoided offal because of the smell report none here. Nobody pretends it is cheap, either: at around ₩25,000 a portion with a two-portion minimum, two people start at ₩50,000 before anything else.
- When people are waiting, meals are capped at two hours. It is posted inside, and four writers read it and wrote it down; one of them approves, having sat behind tables that finished eating and stayed. Reservations go through Naver Maps, and four writers booked. Two note that the largest group seating takes twenty.
4 more
- Someone thought about the smell. The seats open up so your coat and bag go inside them, and there is a separate coat locker — six writers mention it. Four note the Febreze by the door on the way out, and one of them did not need it and said so. One post mentions power sockets at the sofa seats.
- Roomy for an offal house, with real distance between tables. Round drum tables, square tables and sofa seating, somewhere in the region of fifteen to seventeen tables by two writers' counts. One points out that grill houses spit fat and that here the next table is far enough away for it not to matter. Three describe the street front thrown open in autumn so it is half outdoors. Three say the room fills between half past five and six, and two note how many of the customers are older locals — which they read as a good sign.
- The origins are posted, and the two meats differ. The intestine is listed as 100% Korean beef; the abomasum as grade-A American. Four writers copied both lines down. Facing the door there is a large sign — "we do not try to sell a lot; we try to use good ingredients" — that eight writers quote back. Two note the shop does no delivery and no takeaway, dine-in only.
- Ten stamps gets you a free portion. Two writers describe the card — ten stamps for one portion of intestine — and a third signed up to a points scheme on the spot. Two posts from March 2025 record soju and beer at ₩3,000 as a promotion. Around opening they were giving away a dish of dressed tripe; all four people who got it wrote some version of "please put it on the menu."

There are four spaces, and the three people who actually parked came away with three different answers. "Two in front, two at the side, free" appears in a dozen posts, but nearly always inside a header block before the writing starts — it is not the story of anyone parking a car. Of the three who describe doing it: one arrived at five and got a space out front; one found the free spaces full and paid for a tower nearby; one skipped it entirely for the public lot at Moran and walked five minutes. Two posts advise phoning ahead if you are driving. There are designated-driver cards by the till.

Getting inside

Ground floor, no stairs. The registered address says so, and several writers describe walking straight in off the street. It is a hundred-odd metres from exit 7 at Moran, on the market side of the road rather than in the drinking alley — three writers say that is why it feels calmer. Whether there is any other floor, nobody says; everyone we read sat in the ground-floor room.
Nobody wrote about the doorway, a ramp, or the width of the aisles. The place is at street level and sixteen posts say the tables are far apart, but that is not the same as saying a wheelchair gets in. Not one post says whether there is a lip at the door, or what the route out the back to the toilet is like. This is not a yes and not a no; we do not know.
The toilet is not inside the restaurant but out the back door, and it is locked. Two writers note the door code posted on the back door; a third says you punch it in. One says it is unisex — and she is the only person who says anything either way. Two vouch for it being clean: one is surprised given the neighbourhood, the other simply writes "toilet: passed." Nobody wrote about how many stalls there are or whether there is a step on the way.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- We dropped four of the thirty from the count. One was a weekly diary covering six restaurants in which this one gets two lines. The other three do not read as the work of anyone who went. What decided it was facts, not style: one was posted in December and says "although I visited in summer"; one says both the intestine and the abomasum are Korean beef, when this shop's own menu board states the abomasum is American; one praises the charcoal heat, when the place grills on a stone pan over gas and not one of the twenty-six others mentions charcoal. None of the three gives a price or says how many portions they ordered. Four posts disclose sponsorship (two review-campaign, one stated in the text, one hashtag). Six state they paid their own way.
- Not one writer queued. And yet there is a notice inside capping meals at two hours when people are waiting, and a row of chairs outside for them — which means queues happen. The people we read are the ones who dodged them: four booked, and three went between five and six and describe walking into a quiet room and leaving a full one. One found a weekday evening empty enough not to wait at all. How long you stand there at peak without a booking, we do not know. One post does mention queues getting worse after a TV appearance — but that is about the original shop in Gwangju, not this one.
- They can close before the posted time. Three writers note that when the day's meat runs out the shop shortens its hours or shuts — they take in one day's worth and sell that. The hours themselves are near-identical across twenty-three posts spanning two years: two in the afternoon to ten at night, last orders at nine, closed Sundays. Two posts break ranks: one says Mondays (twenty others say Sunday), and one omits the closing day entirely. One post notes that the fried rice stops being served at nine. If you are going late, phone.
- Two portions minimum — you cannot eat here alone. The menu says to order one portion per person, and five writers copied that down. There is no mixed platter and they do not sell large intestine or tripe: two writers say they missed it, while more than ten treat the same fact as the reason to trust the place — plenty of grill houses will only sell you offal as part of a platter, and this one just sells intestine. On corkage the posts flatly disagree, some saying free and some saying paid; we cannot settle it. All six mentions sit in header blocks, and nobody describes actually bringing a bottle.
