Yeoljeong Gimbap
열정김밥 Yeoljeong means passion, so the name reads as Passion Gimbap.
Compiled from 6 blog posts read in fullSources →
A gimbap and snack shop in the R6 low-rise block of Okjeong-dong, Yangju. The rolls use a thin layer of rice and a lot of egg and filling, eaten with ramyeon, tteokbokki or jjolmyeon. The basic roll was 3,800 won in a January 2026 post and 4,000 won in October 2026. We read 8 posts from October 2025 to October 2026; one was about another restaurant and was set aside, and 6 describe a visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- All six visit posts mention places to sit. Four note a window-side bar counter suited to eating alone, and one says two-person tables outnumber four-person ones.
- Five of the six visit posts describe the shop as tidy, citing wood-toned interiors and an uncluttered room.
- Four posts mention takeaway. Two came only to pick up, and one describes the delivery and takeaway orders coming in non-stop on an early weekend morning.
- Four posts call something spicy: the buldak roll, the kimchi bean-sprout ramyeon, the rabokki and the plain ramyeon. One post found some items on the sweet side.
1 more
- No post calls it expensive. Two say it is good for the price, and one was surprised by 1,500 won for a fish-cake skewer until seeing how thick it was.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 6 posts read) |

Only one post mentions the floor: it is at street level.
We do not know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in; nobody wrote about it. One post saw a high chair and another saw baby spoons at the self-serve corner.
We do not know where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender; no post mentions it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 7 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices have changed: the basic roll was 3,800 won in January 2026 and 4,000 won in October 2026. Other prices come from a single January 2026 post, so we cannot say they are current. An April 2026 post notes two new rice dishes but gives no names or prices.
- We cannot confirm a wait. One post found no dine-in customers early on a weekend morning; another only says a queue could form because it is popular. Nobody recorded actually waiting. One post says rolls are made to order, so food can take a little while.
- We do not know how to reach it by train or bus. One post calls the location convenient, but nobody describes arriving by public transport.
- Who people came with does not add up to a pattern: one post each with a mother, a friend and a husband, and the rest do not say.
- Four posts list opening hours of 06:00 to 19:00 and three of them say it closes on Wednesdays, but all of these are copied info blocks. Two posts give the phone number 0507-1340-4529, and one says pickup orders can be booked by phone or app. Nobody mentions booking a table.
