역전우동0410 양주옥정점 Yeokjeon udong means 'udon in front of the station' — the quick bowl of udon once sold at train stations; one post said the room felt like a shop inside a station.

A Theborn Korea franchise udon, rice-bowl and pork-cutlet shop in unit 118 of the CGV building (Cinema MD Plaza) in Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju. You order at a kiosk, collect your food when your number is called, and take pickled radish from a self-serve bar. Basic udon was 4,500 won in the shop (June 2025 and January 2026), tempura udon 6,500 to 7,000 won, chogyemyeon cold noodles 7,500 won and set meals 9,500 won; two posts went on discount days. We read 18 posts dated January 2, 2025 to October 3, 2026. Three were about other places (the shabu shop next door, a beer pub, and a different branch) and were set aside, three were delivery or chain-wide discount lists and were not counted, which leaves twelve posts from people who ate here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Ordering is by kiosk: five posts said so, and one explained that you find a seat first, then each person orders and pays at the kiosk.
- Three posts said you can watch the cooking from your seat. One said the room felt like a shop inside a train station; another likened the counter seats facing the kitchen to an old station-side food stall.
- Four posts described the seating: solo bar seats alongside tables, and one listed solo seats, a high chair, couple seats and four-person tables. One post said the shop is not very large, and the post from a June 2025 discount day advised groups of three or more to split up and take seats as they free up.
- Three posts came with children. One child finished a cheese cutlet and the salad; another post found it fine with kids; in the third the child did not want the udon. One post saw a high chair.
1 more
- Four posts said portions were large, though two of them (September 2025 posts about the pork-and-cutlet plate) share the same wording and look like one commissioned brief.

Parking
2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Two posts mention parking: one says the building has a car park, the other (which looks like a commissioned piece) says there is space in front and nearby. Nobody said how many spaces or whether it is free.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 11 posts read) |
|---|
One post described the shop as being on the ground floor of the CGV building; the other mentions of the first floor are copied addresses.
We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That doesn't mean there isn't access; nobody wrote about it.
We don't know where the toilet is. One post's note that toilets are separated by gender was copied from the listing, so we did not count it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 14 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions split on the cutlet: two posts called it thick, one found it thin (on a June 2025 discount day, wondering if the meat had been pounded thinner for the event), and one called it medium.
- The shop did not move, but the menu changed: posts from July 2025 show collaboration dishes (cold chogyemyeon, then a pork-and-cutlet plate in September), and a November 2025 post reported a new giant fish-cake fritter. By August 2026 the noodles were listed simply as chogyemyeon.
- Prices depend heavily on promotions: one post went on a June 2025 half-price cutlet day (mixed cutlets 4,500 won) and one on an April 2026 half-price day for the pork bowl (4,000 won, normally 8,000). Delivery costs more; the basic udon was 6,900 won delivered. Five posts called it cheap; one said the pork bowl would be a bit disappointing at its full 8,000 won.
- Only one post mentions waiting, at lunch on a June 2025 discount day, and the same post said food came out quickly. Nobody wrote how long the wait is on an ordinary day.
- We don't know how to get there by train or bus. Posts say it is easy to find in the central shopping area, but nobody described arriving by public transit.
- Four posts give the same hours, daily 11:00 to 22:00 with last order at 21:20, but all four copied them from the listing; nobody mentioned a closing day. Three posts give the phone number 0507-1481-0412; nobody said whether reservations are taken.
- Two September 2025 posts about the pork-and-cutlet plate and the cold noodles use the same menu, the same 'soul food for men' phrase and no prices, so they look like commissioned copy, though neither says so. We counted them, but weigh them lightly.
