A live-prawn house that opened in late summer 2026 on the ground floor of a former café near the Okjeong knowledge-industry centre in Yangju. Prawns come out of the tank in a salt-lined pot and you grill them yourself on the table burner; the sets add raw prawns, abalone and clam kalguksu (58,000 won for two, 78,000 for three, 98,000 for four). Drinks, water and side dishes are self-serve, and the kitchen fries the leftover heads on request. Many people also buy live prawns by the kilo to take home. What sets it apart
- Expect to wait in the evening. Nineteen posts waited; one, a weekday visit around 7 p.m., did not. Recorded waits were 20, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 50 minutes and an hour. One writer gave up as 30th in line at 6 p.m. on a weekend. You write your name on a list at the door and must stay nearby — miss your call and the next party goes in. Two posts said there is nowhere to wait.
- Eleven posts describe the folding glass walls thrown open so it feels like eating outdoors. Window tables fill first; two posts said staff brought a windbreak when the wind blew out the burner, and one diner sweated in the afternoon sun.
- Nine posts called the portions large; one counted over twenty prawns in a 1 kg grill, another forty in the three-person set. Two posts said sets and the single grill hold the same amount of prawns.

There is no lot; people park on the street. Eight posts parked on nearby roadsides, and three of them said the building's underground car park is for residents only. Claims that you can use it appear only in copied info blocks, so we did not count them. Two other writers found parking a struggle.

Only one post says it is on the ground floor of a white building; others do not mention it. Two posts note the entrance is on the far side, so you have to walk around.
No one wrote about steps, wheelchair or pushchair access — we simply do not know. Two posts said the approach was a messy construction area with bare earth.
One post says the toilet is outside, just to the right of the car-park-side door, with a single stall that can mean a wait. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied info blocks, so we did not count them.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Nobody came by bus or subway, so we cannot say how easy it is by public transport. Two posts said it is awkward to reach on foot from central Okjeong; one came by taxi and one by bike.
- Eighteen posts give opening hours of noon to midnight daily, mostly copied from listings. One local thought it seemed to open around 4 p.m., so check before a daytime visit.
- Prices vary a little across posts: five give 45,000 won for the single grill, one 40,000, and one writer said it had just gone up. Takeaway prawns were 35,000 won per kg in eight posts and 45,000 in one. One couple paid 60,000 won for the two-person set with a drink; another 83,000 for the three-person set. Seafood follows market prices, so current prices are unknown.
- No one made a reservation. Two writers phoned ahead (0507-1354-7781) to ask whether there were seats; the waiting list is on paper at the door and they do not call you.
- Two posts guess this may be a seasonal pop-up — one saw a three-month job ad, another noted the old 'Urban Oasis' sign still up. Both are guesses; we have no posts from after prawn season yet.
