Wawudam Hamheung Naengmyeon
와우담 함흥냉면 Wawudam has no meaning given in any post; Hamheung naengmyeon is the thin, chewy cold-noodle style named after the northern city of Hamhung.
Compiled from 11 blog posts read in fullSources →
A Hamhung-style cold-noodle shop on the ground floor of a strip of shops near the R6 apartment blocks in Okjeong, Yangju. Beyond the thin, chewy noodles it serves a bulgogi hot pot simmered at the table, pork cutlets, short-rib soup and beef-head soup. We read 30 posts dated 7 November 2025 to 20 October 2026; 18 were about other places with similar names and were set aside. Of the remaining 12, 11 describe eating there and one is a delivery meal at home. Ten of those 11 visits were posted in November 2025; there is just one from 2026, in August. November 2025 prices: spicy bibim naengmyeon 9,000 won, pollack naengmyeon 11,000 won, pork cutlet 10,500 won, bulgogi for two 32,000 won.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Order bulgogi for two and a third portion comes free. Ten of the 11 visit posts mention the deal and seven actually ordered the bulgogi. Two give 32,000 won for two portions; one says a bibim naengmyeon drops from 9,000 to 6,000 won alongside it. The August 2026 post used the same deal, so it was not just a November 2025 promotion.
- Seven posts say the portions are large. The bulgogi arrives with sprouts and scallions piled almost like a tower, and the writer who ordered a large pollack naengmyeon got two full single portions.
- One post counts about seven four-person tables. Six say the tables are well spaced, while three say the room itself is not big.

Parking
7 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Seven posts say you can park right outside. One counts room for about two cars in front, with the rest parking in nearby side streets; another's '3–4 cars' came from a copied info block, so we did not count it. One post notes there is no dedicated lot.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | 3 of 11 posts |

No one describes which floor the restaurant is on from experience; the address says ground floor, but nobody wrote about the way in.
Nobody says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits. That means we don't know, not that there is none. Two posts mention high chairs.
Three posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant, one remarking on it because the room itself is small. No one says whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 12 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No one reports waiting. Three posts got seated straight away — one was the first customer at weekend opening, another went at a quiet hour — so we do not know about the weekday lunch rush.
- No one came by bus or train. One post says it is walkable from the R6 apartments; nobody gives the walk from a stop or station.
- Company varies: two went with a spouse or partner, two as families with children, one with a friend over soju; the rest don't say.
- Eight posts give opening hours, all copied from listings. All agree on 11:00–21:00, and most on a weekday break from 15:00 to 17:00; two say there is no break at weekends. Days off disagree: three say closed Wednesdays, two say open daily. One post copied a 15:00–17:00 break but wrote 3 to 4 p.m. in its own text.
- Every price comes from November 2025 posts; the 2026 post gives none, so we can't confirm current prices. A meal then ran 9,000–11,000 won for noodles and 10,500–12,500 won for a cutlet.
- Seven posts give the same phone number, 0507-1334-3468. No one says whether the restaurant takes reservations.
- Ten of the 11 visit posts fall within three weeks in November 2025 and repeat the same bulgogi deal, review promotion and stock phrases in the same order. None discloses sponsorship, but it reads like a commissioned batch, so weigh it accordingly.
