우곱소곱 A play on words: 우 (牛) and 소 both mean cow, and 곱 is the soft fat that fills beef small intestine (gopchang). No post explains the name.

A beef-gopchang grill in the M City building in Okjeong's central shopping area, Yangju; it moved here from Goeup-dong in April 2025. The signature mixed grill (ugop modum) is 26,000 won a portion: heart, aorta, small and large intestine and abomasum arrive pre-grilled and are finished on the table plate with bean sprouts and chives. Raw liver, omasum and a beef-radish soup with ramyeon come free first; fried rice (3,000 won) or chewy noodles (6,000 won) close the meal. What we do not know
- The shop moved from Goeup-nam-ro 20-15 to its current address in April 2025, as a March 2025 post announced. We did not count seating, parking or hours from the two earlier posts, and the old 031 phone number no longer applies.
- Waits vary: one December 2025 evening post waited briefly because the room was full, while two found no wait, at opening and on a weekend evening. No post gives minutes.
- Opinions on space differ: two posts found it roomy with well-spaced tables, one found it compact.
- We don't know how to get there by train or bus; posts only say it is easy to find in the Okjeong central shopping area.
- Seven Okjeong posts list 3 pm to 2 am with last order at 1 am, all copied from listings; the latest post (July 2026) alone says closing is 1 am. No post gives a closing day, and the old shop's closing days were said to vary.
