Ttobongi Tongdak's Okjeong branch is a franchise shop for old-style fried chicken in the R6 restaurant lanes of Okjeong-dong, Yangju. People come for thin-battered whole chicken with draft beer, and there is seating both indoors and on a terrace. Prices in the posts: half-and-half 15,900 won, boneless fried 16,900 won, and a chicken-plus-fried-gizzard set for 23,000 won. We read 20 posts from February 2025 to October 2026; 11 of them, from April 2025 to October 2026, record an actual meal there.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Free starters arrive before the chicken: 10 of the 11 visit posts mention them — cabbage salad with ketchup and mayonnaise, pickled radish, and puffed macaroni crackers. One post noted the first round is brought to the table and refills come from the self-service bar.
- Eight posts describe a self-service bar with crackers, salad, radish, sauces and plates, so you fetch refills yourself instead of calling staff.
- Leftovers are self-packed: four posts say chicken boxes and bags sit at the self-service bar for that. One August 2026 post got 1,000 won off for picking up an order.
- Five posts, all from 2026, sat on or described the terrace: red plastic chairs, blue tables and clear wind screens, like a street stall. A May 2026 post said the awning had been redone along the building line that year. In summer, one post found air conditioning reaching the outdoor tables; another mentioned fans.
3 more
- Seven posts call the coating crisp, and most tie it to how thin it is — 'thin as paper', 'not the thick batter of today's chicken'. Two said it didn't feel greasy.
- Five posts found it cheap and none called it expensive — 'around 30,000 won for two chickens', 'a whole chicken plus fried gizzards for 23,000 won'.
- Four posts came with children; two said the chicken or rice cakes weren't spicy, so the kids ate well. But one found the soy-garlic sauce slightly hot, and another warned the fried chilies in the gizzard plate are very hot.

Three posts mention parking: the Yujin lot on the roof of the same building, or the three-story car park right next door, with one post given a parking discount ticket. Another post simply suggested parking at the curb nearby.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post describes the floor or any stairs; the '1st floor' in the address is the registered listing, not something a visitor reported.
Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means unknown, not absent.
No post says where the restroom is or whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 13 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Portions split: one post found it more than expected and took leftovers home, while two found a single chicken small for two people and suggested adding a side.
- No post reports a wait, but the two that said 'no wait' came at 5:30 pm on a Friday and right after opening. Nobody recorded the peak-hour wait; one post said terrace seats fill quickly.
- Nobody described getting there by subway or bus; one post recommended public transport or walking, but its writers had simply strolled over from home.
- Six posts list opening hours as 4 pm to midnight (four say daily), but every one is copied from a listing block; nobody noted a closing day or last order.
- Four posts give the phone number 0507-0092-4259. On reservations, one post only repeated hearsay that groups can book, so we did not count it; another said phoning in an order ten minutes ahead lets you pick it up without waiting.
- Each price comes from a single post, mostly from August 2026 (the 23,000-won set is from February 2026). Nobody gave the price of a plain whole chicken or any 2025 prices.
- Three posts from August 2026 (the 16th, 24th and 26th) share the same address-hours-phone block, the same repeated 'Yangju Okjeong chicken spot' phrasing and the same description of take-home boxes, in the same order. One carries a 'sponsorships welcome' hashtag, though none discloses sponsorship. An August 10 post covers a Naver Pay cashback promotion. Even without these three, other posts also describe the self-service bar and the terrace.
