쏘곱창 본점 Gopchang means beef small intestine, grilled or stewed; bonjeom means the main branch.
Compiled from 25 blog posts read in fullSources →
A Korean-beef gopchang and gopdoritang spot on the ground floor (units 107–108) of First Plaza in Okjeong's central shopping area, Yangju; the upstairs Ssojjukkumi pub belongs to the same owner. The intestines are cooked in the kitchen and arrive on an iron plate, kept warm on a low flame at the table. Two people can order a single portion, and the most common order was one portion of hanu gopchang plus a half gopdoritang (16,000 won). One portion of hanu gopchang was 24,900 won on a July 2026 menu photo and 25,900 won in October. Gopdoritang was added around June 2026. We read 30 posts from 25 June to 20 October 2026; 26 describe an actual visit. Nearly all of them repeat the same promotional lines in the same order.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- 'Every dish can be ordered as a single portion' is the house's own slogan, but eleven posts actually ordered single portions for two; nine of them paired one portion of hanu gopchang with a half gopdoritang.
- Eleven posts said the intestines arrive already cooked; the table burner is just for keeping them warm on low, and the fried rice is also made in the kitchen.
- Thirteen posts said a kimchi fish-cake soup comes free with the order, alongside chive salad, bean sprouts, pickled onion and kimchi; bean powder, cheese powder, curry powder and hot sauce come on request.
- Five posts got side-dish refills; there is no self-serve bar, you ask the staff. Six posts ordered on a tablet or kiosk at the table.
4 more
- Thirteen posts called the portions generous, one describing a heaping bowl of rice. One post disagreed: a half gopdoritang was a bit short for two people's meal.
- Seven posts said the intestines had no off smell; none said they did.
- Ten posts called the food spicy, mostly the gopdoritang and octopus; five called it sweet, one likening the gopdoritang to tteokbokki.
- Among posts that said who they came with, five came as a couple and three with friends. Five said they were return visitors.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 16 of 25 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 5 (of 25 posts read) |
| Step at the entrance | 1 of 25 posts |
Sixteen posts said there are two floors. The upstairs is a separately registered pub, Ssojjukkumi (unit 208); we set aside the two posts that checked in there. Only one post actually sat upstairs, while five said they sat on the ground floor, where the same menu is available.
No post says whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. One mentions climbing a few steps from the parking to the door; none mentions a lift or ramp.
No one described where the toilets are from experience; 'in the building, separate for men and women' appears only in one copied listing.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Almost every post recites the same lines — same-day-slaughtered hanu, the owner's own organic vegetables, fast turnover, groups of 30+, buy-two-get-one drinks, a delivery-app link — in the same order. We treat these as copied promotion. Of the 26 visit posts, two disclose a sponsored or hosted meal, one says it was self-paid, and 23 say nothing. The free hot pot for early arrivals is given with different hours in different posts, and no one said they received it.
- Prices: one portion of hanu gopchang was 24,900 won on a July 2026 menu photo and 25,900 won in October; with only two sources we can't say when it rose. Three posts called the place cheap, though one of them also said the beef intestine itself is pricey.
- Seventeen posts list opening hours, all copied and inconsistent. Eleven say closed Mondays; 4:30 p.m. opening on weekdays and a 2 a.m. close are the most common. Weekend opening is split between 3:30 and 4 p.m.; two October 2026 posts give a 1:30 a.m. close and one says 3 a.m. One June post lists an entirely different schedule. Check before going.
- Most posts give the phone number 0507-1446-7529; two give 031-867-7529. No post says they booked ahead — the group-reservation line is copied promotion.
- No post describes queuing — that means no one wrote about it, not that there is no wait. Several said tables fill up by 6–7 p.m., and two found the gopdoritang sold out, once after 8 p.m. on a weekday.
- No post describes arriving by bus or subway; 'five minutes' walk from the Okjeong central shopping area stop' comes from a copied list post. One writer said it is a two-minute walk from their office.
