A reservation-only sushi omakase on the third floor of the CGV building (Cinema MD) in central Okjeong, Yangju. You sit at the counter facing the chef for a fixed course: chawanmushi, a few small plates, a dozen-odd pieces of sushi, then miso soup, noodles and tamagoyaki. Lunch is seated at 11:30 and 13:00, dinner at 18:00 and 20:00. Posts from March 2026 on give 50,000 won for lunch and 90,000 won for dinner; posts from May 2025 to January 2026 gave 45,000 and 80,000. Many people went for a birthday, wedding anniversary or Parents' Day. We read 30 posts from 20 December 2024 to 19 October 2026; 27 describe an actual visit. Two were about other sushi places and were set aside, and one only named the restaurant inside a promotion for a hold'em pub.

What sets it apart
- Every seat is at the counter: seven posts said there is nothing but bar seating, one describing it as L-shaped. Seat counts vary by post: 10 (twice), about 10, about 12, about 14. Several people said they had the room to themselves on a weekday or early seating.
- You book ahead. Ten posts said they reserved through CatchTable or Naver. One person got the last lunch seat a week before Christmas; one called it hard to book, another said competition for slots was not fierce.
- Ten posts said nothing tasted fishy, often about mackerel, horse mackerel and herring. One disagreed, saying the horse mackerel had a strong fishy taste that would split opinion.
- Eight posts said the course was a lot of food; some left the final noodles because they were full. One disagreed: a family of four found it tasty but not quite enough.

Parking is in the building. Six posts parked there without trouble; one arriving at 11:30 found the two basement levels nearly empty. One post found the space tight and suggested the CGV side. The free-parking hours (two or three) and the Poly Tower option come from copied listings, so we did not count them.

It is on the third floor of the CGV building, not underground. Three posts described arriving on the third floor; two said the door is right by the elevator (one said to the right, the other to the left).
Nobody said whether the entrance has a step or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. We only know you take the elevator to the third floor.
One post said the toilet is out in the corridor, not inside the restaurant. Nobody said whether it is separated by gender or how big it is.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices have changed twice. One December 2024 post gave 50,000 won lunch and 95,000 won dinner; posts from May 2025 to January 2026 gave 45,000 and 80,000; posts from March 2026 give 50,000 and 90,000. A meal now starts at 50,000 won for lunch, drinks extra. One December 2025 post paid with the Yangju local currency card and brought 90,000 won for two down to 77,000.
- Opinions split on pacing, one to one: one post praised the chef's speed and said there were no gaps; another said one chef serving about eight guests made the courses slow.
- The opening dish changed: posts through March 2026 describe chawanmushi with truffle oil, posts from July 2026 one topped with shrimp bisque. The noodle course also follows the season, cold noodles in summer and shoyu ramen or udon otherwise. Some posts got an encore piece of their favourite sushi at the end; one said there was none.
- Opening hours appear only in copied listings. Nine posts give 11:30-22:00; the afternoon break is listed as 14:00-18:00 or 14:30-18:00 in posts from December 2024 to August 2025, 14:00-17:00 in two posts from August 2026, and 14:00-15:00 in one. No post names a closing day. Since you enter at fixed seatings by reservation, these hours do not mean you can walk in at any time.
- No one wrote about queuing; since you arrive for a booked seating, posts talk about reservations instead. That means no one mentioned a line, not that there never is one.
- No post describes getting there by train or bus; they only say to look for the CGV building in central Okjeong.
- The no-kids rule (with an exception for children who can eat the full course) appears only in copied listings; no post describes visiting with a child.
- Six posts give the same phone number, 0507-1441-6681, though posts say bookings go through CatchTable or Naver rather than by phone.
