Samajeong Yangju Jigyeongjeom
사마정 양주직영점 Jigyeongjeom means a company-run branch: this is the directly operated Yangju outlet of the Samajeong shabu-shabu brand, which one post says is headquartered in Haeundae, Busan; no post explains the name Samajeong itself.

A Japanese-style shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurant on the third floor of the Seonyang Plaza building (the one with the Daiso) in Okjeong's central shopping district. We read 30 posts from 2 February to 18 October 2026; 25 describe actually eating here. There are all-you-can-eat courses covering meat and sides (38,000 won with Korean beef, 32,000 won with beef and pork), sets where only vegetables and mushrooms are refilled (beef set 14,000 won, Korean beef set 23,000-25,000 won), and a separate weekday lunch menu. The most-ordered dish is a broth-less sukiyaki simmered in tare in an iron pan, eaten in 12 posts. For shabu-shabu you pick two of three broths: sukiyaki, kombu or the spicy karai.

Rows without a count: 5 of 16 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Most seating is in private rooms; 19 of the visit posts mention them. Several say sliding doors between rooms open into one large room. Counts vary by post: six rooms and four hall tables, about eight rooms, about three hall tables. One party could only book the hall because the rooms were full, and another post advises booking because the rooms were nearly all taken.
- Three posts actually brought a dog. Two say they had to give the pet's registration number at the door (one brought the vaccination booklet), and one filled in a vaccination form and was given a cushion for the dog. The post with a large dog notes no weight limit but a carrier is required. The many other posts that say pets are welcome are mostly repeating the listing, so we did not count them.
- Staff set up the sukiyaki: three posts say staff greased the pan, laid out the vegetables and meat and poured the tare, and two more mention only the greasing. After that you keep cooking yourself, adding tare, pepper and shichimi.
- Six posts call the karai broth spicy, from 'spicier than expected' to 'about as hot as Yeul Ramen' and 'not for children'.

Parking
6 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Six posts parked in the building's basement garage, four of them saying there was plenty of room (three underground levels); you register parking at the counter when paying. One post found the garage entrance jammed and used a nearby public lot instead.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 6 (of 24 posts read) |
|---|---|

| Step-free access | 1 of 24 posts |
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 24 posts read) |
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 24 posts |
The restaurant is on the third floor; six posts took the lift up. No post mentions stairs or a basement.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair can get in. One post says a pram fitted easily into a four-seat room. That is not a no; we simply do not know.
Only one post mentions the toilets: separate men's and women's, in the building rather than inside the restaurant. Other posts listing separate toilets are copying the listing.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-09-16 | 2 posts in one day |

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post went by bus or subway; three drove and one walked over from the lake park. We do not know how it is reached by public transport.
- No post describes queuing. One guesses there may be a wait at weekend dinner peaks, but that is not experience, so we did not count it. We do not know about waits.
- Opinions on price are split: two posts found it expensive (one says for this money you might as well go to a chain buffet), one called it good value. The lunch sukiyaki price also differs: a July 2026 post says 19,000 won a person, an August menu photo shows lunch specials at 13,000-18,000 won.
- Opening hours come in two versions. Every post up to May 2026 says daily 11:00-23:00 with last orders at 22:00; from July, six posts say 22:30 Monday to Thursday and 23:00 Friday to Sunday. But three October posts still say 23:00 daily, so we cannot tell whether or when it changed. Most of these are copied from the listing. Four posts say there is no closing day.
- Most posts give the phone number as 0507-1391-7379; one gives 031-928-7379. Bookings are taken through Naver or by phone, and one post says group bookings require a deposit.
- More than ten posts repeat the same three search phrases, which look like the restaurant's own campaign keywords; only three of them disclose sponsorship. Two posts published the same day share sentence order and wording and describe 'spring' in September, so we did not count them as visits. Claims such as the owner's ten years in Japanese restaurants or 'the only traditional sukiyaki in Korea' are the restaurant's own lines, repeated by bloggers, and we did not rely on them.
